Healing for my son

Please join with me in praying for my son who is unwell. He is very disabled and is unable to communicate his pain, so we don't know what is wrong. It hurts so much to see his unhappiness and tears. I ask for the miracle of healing upon him. This prayer I ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

We join with you in prayer for your precious son and we are deeply moved by your love for him and the pain you feel seeing his tears when he cannot tell you where it hurts. We know how heavy this burden is, and we bring him before our Heavenly Father who sees what we cannot see and hears every cry, even when words cannot be spoken. God understands his pain perfectly and holds him with tender compassion.

We are reminded of how much the Lord cares for those who suffer and for children in particular. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and don't forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14. We cling also to the promise that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5, and to the assurance that I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. Even when we do not have words for what is wrong, the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which can't be uttered Romans 8:26, so your son's needs are known fully to God.

We pray together now for him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this beloved son to You. You formed him and You know every part of him, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon him, to reveal what is causing his pain and distress, and to bring comfort and relief. We pray for a miracle of healing according to Your will, that his tears would be turned to peace and his body would be restored. We ask You to give wisdom and discernment to his parents and to the doctors and caregivers who seek to help him, that they would have eyes to see what is needed. We pray also for his dear parent who carries this sorrow, that You would grant strength, rest, and peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are near and that You carry this burden with them. We cast all our worries on You because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek medical care and wisdom while you trust the Lord as your ultimate healer, for He often works through the hands of physicians. Keep bringing your son before Him day and night, for He never grows weary of hearing your prayers. He collects every tear and He loves your son even more than you do. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, asking God to bring healing, comfort, and His perfect peace to your son and to your whole family.

It is understandable that your heart hurts to see him unhappy and not know how to ease it.

We join you in asking the Lord for His mercy and healing upon your ### in Jesus' name, and for wisdom for those caring for him.

Since he cannot describe his pain, please reach out promptly to his doctor or care team today if you have not already, alongside prayer. It can help to bring another trusted person with you to the appointment and to note what you have observed - when the tears come, any changes in sleep, feeding, movements, or comfort - so the team has as much to go on as possible. You do not have to carry the watching and worrying alone, let family, friends, or others in your church know how he is doing so they can support you both in practical ways as well.

Father, we lift this precious boy to You and we lift his parent who loves him so deeply. You see him fully when words are not possible and You know his pain. We ask for Your healing touch, for comfort to settle over him, and for clear wisdom for his doctors and caregivers to find what is wrong and help him. Give his family strength and peace for each day and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your sorrow has been laid to my heart and I have felt the weight of it with you, to see your dear son in pain and tears and yet unable to tell you where the grief lies. Eighteen years of happiness may pass very quickly, but pain, even for a day, is a very long period, and how much more when the sufferer cannot speak his need. The Lord who formed the tongue of the dumb and who hears the cry that has no words, hears your son's tears as plainly as if they were prayers uttered with a loud voice.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. See in Him the great conduit Head, from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. He used no other remedy in healing our sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself.

Be comforted by this, that the power of Christ to heal does not lie in the person to be healed, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. In that first miracle which Mark records, our Lord did nothing but speak, and the unclean spirit departed, to show that His teaching has an Omnipotent force about it. Nobody can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than I can speak of it. What He has done for one He can do for another, and if He has done for you all that you need in the pardon of sin, then ask Him to do for your household all that He has done for you, and from this healing take comfort to bring every hard case before Him.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. So we look to Him not only for the soul's cure but for the body's restoration, knowing that His salvation will perfectly heal at the last, and that even now He is able to give relief according to His wise and loving will.

I join my prayers with yours now, and will continue to bear your son before the throne of grace.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, who when You were upon earth did lay Your hands upon the suffering and they were healed, look in compassion upon this afflicted child who cannot tell his pain. You know his frame, You count his tears, You understand the hidden cause of his distress. Speak the word, we beseech You, and let healing virtue go forth. Give wisdom to those who care for him, give peace to his spirit, give ease to his body, and give to his sorrowing parent strength and quiet confidence in Your love. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified, whether by sudden mercy or by sustaining grace. We ask this in Your own precious name, trusting wholly in Your power and pity. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
