We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles in your marriage, but we are heartened by your faith in calling upon the mighty name of Jesus Christ for healing. It is only in His name that we have access to the Father and to salvation. As it is your husband needs to be in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ as well to have a successful marriage. As a group, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage, and believing in His power to restore and heal.
The Bible tells us that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). This does not mean that He hates divorced people, but it shows His heart for marriage—that it should be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. God's ideal for marriage is clearly outlined in the Scriptures: "For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh" (Matthew 19:5 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sister and her marriage. Lord, You know the pain and heartache that comes from a broken marriage. We ask that You would intervene, heal, and restore this union. Soften their hearts towards each other and draw them closer to You. Help them to forgive each other, to love each other as You have loved us, and to seek Your will for their marriage.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, anger, or bitterness that may be at work in their marriage. We pray for a spirit of unity, understanding, and love to prevail. Guide them as they navigate this challenging time, and give them the strength and wisdom to honor their marital vows.
Father, we also pray for their individual walks with You. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and help them to grow in their faith. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, even in the midst of trials.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and a miraculous turnaround in this marriage. We trust in Your power and Your promise that nothing is impossible with You. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and believing for your marriage.
