I’m a womanWe come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who is suffering from back pain. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask You now to touch this brother’s body, to bring relief to his pain, and to restore strength and mobility to his back. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise to renew his strength (Isaiah 40:31).
We also recognize, Lord, that physical pain can sometimes be a reminder of our dependence on You. May this trial draw him closer to You, deepening his trust in Your care and provision. Help him to rest in Your peace, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in his life that may be hindering his healing, we pray that You would reveal it to him, Lord, so that he may repent and walk in full freedom. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or pain in the name of Jesus, for it is written that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).
We encourage this brother to seek wise medical counsel if needed, for You have given wisdom to physicians and caregivers. But above all, we ask that You would be his ultimate healer. May he feel Your presence surrounding him, comforting him, and reminding him that he is never alone.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
