Healing, anxiety

Beloved of All
Father God, thank you for your blessings and hearing our prayers~ I ask for healing over my body and deliverance from anxiety in Jesus name Amen

We join you in thanking our Father for His blessings and for the assurance that He hears our prayers, and we stand with you now asking for His healing touch upon your body and His perfect peace over your mind.

We know that anxiety can feel overwhelming, but Scripture reminds us that we are not meant to carry it alone. We are told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. And we are encouraged, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. Our God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and He says to us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

We also cling to His promises for healing, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and He promises, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We thank Him that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases, Psalm 103:3.

We pray together for you now.

Father God, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You hear us and that You care deeply for Your child. We ask in Jesus' name for Your healing power to rest upon this body. Touch every part that is in need of restoration, bring strength, wholeness, and health according to Your will. We also ask for deliverance from anxiety. We rebuke the spirit of fear and ask You to replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, calm every anxious thought, and help our dear one to rest fully in Your love and sovereignty. Teach us to daily cast our cares upon You and to trust You more deeply. Let Your presence be felt in a powerful way, bringing comfort, assurance, and joy. We thank You for what You are already doing and will continue to do. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to Him in prayer, to dwell on His Word, and to rest in His promises. If anxiety persists, continue to seek Him and consider sharing your struggles with a trusted pastor or counselor and with a medical professional as God often uses many means to bring healing. Keep trusting that He who cares for you is faithful to carry you through.

We were encouraged to read your prayer starting with thanksgiving. Even while asking for healing and relief from anxiety, you paused to thank God for hearing you, and we want to thank Him with you.

We hear how much you want both physical healing and freedom from the worry that can weigh on the body and mind together. Anxiety is not just a thought, it often shows up in the body too, which is why it can feel so exhausting and hard to shake on your own. Bringing that honestly to Jesus is a good place to be.

It can help to not carry this alone. If anxiety keeps pressing or physical symptoms continue, we encourage you to share this with a trusted pastor and also with a medical professional who can listen and help you discern next steps, alongside prayer.

We are praying with you for God's nearness, wisdom, and gentle healing in His will.

Father, thank You for hearing us when we call on You. We lift our friend to You now and ask for Your healing touch on their body and Your peace to quiet anxious thoughts. Give them wisdom, supportive people around them, and a steady sense of Your presence day by day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in thanking our gracious God that His ear is open to the cry of His people, and that He hears our prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord. You have done well to bring both your body and your burdened mind to Him, for He is the God of all deliverance and healing.

You ask for healing over your body. Remember that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing beneath His wings, and pardon and healing are found together in Him. When He dwells with His people, He brings restoration to both soul and body according to His perfect wisdom and mercy. We pray that you would know His healing hand upon you, whether by His immediate touch or by His sustaining grace through affliction, and that you would find your strength renewed in Him.

You also ask for deliverance from anxiety. Take comfort in this truth, that anxiety itself has never comforted any soul, nor has it ever brought provision or profit. Indeed, the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Our Lord therefore calls us not to anxious care, but to cast all our care upon Him, for He cares for you. Anxiety confined within yourself will do no good, but prayer poured out before your Father will bring peace. He who delivered Israel from cruel captivity with His outstretched arm is the same God who delivers His children today from the archers of fear and trouble.

So we pray for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your blessings and for hearing us when we call. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son who bore our sins and our sicknesses, that You would lay Your healing hand upon this dear one. Grant relief to the body and calm to the troubled spirit. Deliver from the weight of anxiety and fill the heart with Your perfect peace which passes all understanding. Teach this soul to look continually to Christ, in whose wounds is healing and in whose death is life, and to rest in Your faithful care day by day. Let this trial become a testimony, that having been chastened and delivered, this life may declare the works of the Lord. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
