We hear your cry for healing and deliverance from anxiety, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking the Lord’s mercy and power. The Scriptures remind us that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and the Prince of Peace who can calm every storm within us (Isaiah 9:6).
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, faith in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.
Now, let us pray together for your healing and freedom from anxiety:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the God who heals and delivers. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch to restore every part of their body that is weak, sick, or in pain. Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise now. Strengthen their body, Lord, and remove every trace of illness or infirmity.
Father, we also ask for Your peace to flood their heart and mind. Anxiety does not come from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in Jesus’ name and command it to leave. Fill this precious one with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we ask that You would draw near to them in this time of need. Remind them of Your faithfulness and Your promises. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love and comfort in tangible ways.
We also pray for wisdom for any medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through them as well. Above all, we ask that Your will be done in this situation, for Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season of healing and deliverance to draw this one closer to You. May they grow in faith, in dependence on You, and in the knowledge of Your love. Help them to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them (Galatians 5:1) and to live a life that brings glory to Your name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is life and health to all our flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Speak the Scriptures over your life, declaring God’s promises of healing and peace. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. And remember, the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
