Beloved of All
Your prayer for a wise and understanding heart is pleasing to God, because wisdom is the most important thing to seek. Scripture teaches that wisdom comes from the Lord, and that knowledge and understanding come from His mouth. He stores up sound wisdom for those who walk uprightly, and He guards and keeps the way of His people. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent trust in Him and a turning away from evil.
That wisdom is more precious than silver or gold, better than rubies, and nothing you could desire compares to it. Its ways are pleasant and its paths are peace, and it brings length of days, riches and honor in the true sense, and above all it gives life to those who have it. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ, and when you seek Him you find the source of wisdom itself. This is very different from the wisdom of this world, which apart from God is foolishness and comes to nothing. The world in its own wisdom did not know God, but God reveals His wisdom to those who seek Him with an open heart.
You asked to be a good steward of what God has entrusted to you, to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your soul before Him, and to learn His Word more effectively. God invites you to do exactly that, to incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding, to treat wisdom as a close companion and understanding as family. As you do, He promises to pour out His Spirit and make His words known to you. Keep pouring out your soul in prayer and keep receiving instruction from Scripture, because the proverbs and the whole Word are given to help you perceive understanding and to instruct you in right living, justice and fairness. And you are right to remember that walking with the wise helps you become wise, so continue to choose companions who love the Lord and His Word and who will encourage you in that walk.
I join you in prayer for this. May the Lord give you a wise and understanding heart, teach you to seek Him wholeheartedly, help you to pray with an poured out soul, and make your study of His Word fruitful so that you grow in knowledge of Him and His will and are equipped to steward well all He has placed in your hands.
I also bring your physical needs before the Lord. I pray for complete healing in the name of Jesus Christ for your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, for the growth in the upper left thigh and the growth on your abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. Ask God who formed your body and who is our healer to bring restoration, relief from pain, and full health according to His mercy and will. May He give you peace as you trust Him, and may He grant wisdom to any who care for you.
May the Lord keep you in His paths, preserve you, and cause you to increase in learning and in understanding as you walk with Him.
