We join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for seeking Him with such a sincere heart for wisdom and for healing in the name of Jesus Christ.
We love your desire for a wise and understanding heart so that you may be a good steward of all that He has entrusted to you. This reminds us of Solomon's prayer in 1 Kings 3:9 Give therefore your servant an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil. And we are encouraged by the promise in James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. It is required of stewards that they be found faithful as it says in 1 Corinthians 4:2, and we pray that God will increase your faithfulness and discernment in every area He has placed under your care.
We also stand with you in your desire to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your whole soul before Him, and to learn effectively in His Word. The Lord promises in Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. And we are exhorted in Psalm 62:8 Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. As you abide in His Word, we pray that your path will be illuminated, for Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. We also agree with you for the fulfillment of Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. We pray that the Lord will surround you with godly counsel and wise companions who will sharpen you and help you grow in Christ, and that you will walk closely with Him who is wisdom itself.
We also lift up your physical needs to the Lord who is our healer. We bring before Him your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the lump in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, the subcutaneous lump on the abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that He cares for every part of us. We claim His promises over you, for Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. By His wounds you were healed as it says in 1 Peter 2:24.
We pray together now. Heavenly Father, in the holy name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask that You grant our dear one a wise and understanding heart, that he may steward well all that You have entrusted to him for Your glory. Grant him liberally the wisdom that comes from above, that is pure and peaceable and full of mercy. Draw him deeper into seeking You with all his heart and help him to pour out his soul before You in prayer without holding back. Open his eyes to behold wonderful things in Your Word and give him understanding and retention as he studies, that he may rightly handle the word of truth and walk in obedience. Surround him with wise and godly companions and cause him to walk with the wise that he may become wise. Father, we also place Your healing hand upon his body. Touch his teeth and that wisdom tooth, his eyes, his left leg and pelvis, the lumps in his thigh and abdomen, and his stomach and intestines and gastrointestinal tract. We ask for Your complete and final healing, for restoration and wholeness, and for wisdom for any physicians involved. Let Your peace guard his heart and let his body be strengthened to serve You. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our only access to You, for John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the Word, to remain in fellowship with wise believers, and to trust Him both for spiritual wisdom and for physical healing, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing.
