Silas
Beloved of All
Your desire for a wise and understanding heart to be a faithful steward of all God has entrusted to you is a prayer God delights to answer. Scripture says the Lord Himself gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for those who walk uprightly, and He guards and keeps their way. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent trust in Him and a turning away from evil. When you seek Him with your whole heart and pour out your soul before Him, you are seeking the true source.
Wisdom is described as the most valuable thing you can pursue, more precious than silver or gold or rubies. Length of days, riches and honor, pleasantness and peace are in her ways. That is why you are urged to get wisdom and with all your getting to get understanding, to incline your ear to it and apply your heart to it, to treat it as a sister and close companion. This kind of wisdom is not the wisdom of this world, which God shows to be foolish and which comes to nothing. The wisdom of the world in its pride did not know God. True wisdom comes from above, it is pure and leads to a life of purity and peace, and its fruit can be seen in how a person lives.
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. To know Him and to walk with Him is to walk in wisdom. That is why the word says to walk with the wise and you will become wise. As you stay in the Word of God, receive its instruction, and keep its words before your eyes, the Spirit of wisdom will teach you and give you understanding for daily decisions and stewardship. Keep asking Him for that understanding heart, and keep learning in His Word with a sincere and seeking heart.
We also join you in prayer for healing. We bring before the Lord your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the area in the upper left thigh, the spot on the abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. The Scripture shows that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and Matthew applies the prophecy of Isaiah to physical healing as well as to our salvation from sin. God is able to heal completely, and we ask Him to touch each of these areas and bring full and lasting healing in the Name of Jesus Christ. At the same time, to pray Father, Your will be done is not a lack of faith but great wisdom and trust, committing yourself fully into His loving hands.
We pray now, Heavenly Father, give this dear one a wise and understanding heart. Pour out Your wisdom and knowledge, teach through Your Word, and help in seeking You with the whole heart and in pouring out the soul in prayer. Lead to fellowship with wise and godly people who will encourage growth. Lay Your healing hand upon the body, upon the teeth, eyes, leg, pelvis, thigh, abdomen, stomach and intestines, and restore health according to Your perfect will. Strengthen faith to trust You in all things and to walk in Your ways. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
May the Lord keep you close to His Word and to prayer, and may He grant you increasing wisdom and peace as you walk with Him.
