Your prayer for a wise and understanding heart is pleasing to the Lord, and I join you in bringing it before Him. Scripture teaches that wisdom does not come from ourselves but from the Lord. Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding, and He stores up sound wisdom for those who walk uprightly and keeps the way of His saints. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding. That is where it starts, in reverence for Him and in a heart that wants to know Him and His will.
Wisdom is the principal thing, more precious than silver or gold or rubies, and with all your getting you are right to ask above all to get understanding. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so to seek wisdom is to seek Him. When you incline your ear toward wisdom and apply your heart to understanding, when you truly search for it, that search leads you to God Himself. There you find the knowledge of God and learn His ways, which are pleasantness and peace, and length of days and honor are in her hands.
I pray with you that God will make you a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you. A heart filled with His wisdom and understanding will help you to handle what He has given you with justice and judgment and fairness, with prudence and discretion. Ask Him for it, for He gives wisdom generously to those who ask, and He will be a shield to you as you walk in His paths.
Your desire to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your soul before Him in prayer, and to learn His Word effectively is the right response. Keep His commandments before your eyes, love wisdom as a sister and understanding as close kin, and receive instruction from His Word. Wisdom is still crying out and inviting all who lack understanding to come and eat of her bread and drink of her wine, to forsake foolish ways and live in the way of understanding. As you stay in the Word, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding will teach you and keep you.
You quoted that to walk with the wise is to become wise, and that is true. The company you keep shapes your heart. I pray the Lord will surround you with wise, godly counsel and that you will continue to choose companions who love His Word and fear Him, so that you may grow in learning and discernment.
I also bring your body before the Lord for healing in Jesus name. He cares for our physical needs, and we are taught that what Isaiah prophesied about the Servant bearing our sicknesses was fulfilled when Jesus healed all who were brought to Him. His body was broken for us, and that work reaches both soul and body. To come to Him and pray, Thy will be done, is not a lack of faith but an expression of great trust and wisdom and full commitment to Him.
So I pray for your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the area in the upper left thigh and for the spot on the abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and the whole gastrointestinal tract. May the Lord touch each of these places, bring complete healing according to His will, relieve pain, restore what is damaged, and strengthen you.
May the Lord grant you a wise and understanding heart, keep you in His Word, draw you close as you seek Him with your whole heart, and bring healing and strength to your body. I am praying for you and asking God to pour out His wisdom, knowledge and peace upon you in the name of Jesus Christ.
