Dear God,
Help me find a prayer community where I can be myself.
Protect me under your wings, preserve my integrity, and give me security.
Send me a best friend to trust, pray with, and be a blessing to.
Make me more secure, draw me closer to Jesus, and deliver me from wrong control and chains.
Heal and restore my family from pain and sorrow.
Grant that we may meet often, come closer to Jesus, and be protected.
Let the Holy Spirit work on our hearts and will, and fill us with His living water.
Help us learn to pray and read God's word.
Let us all rest under your blessing, the protection of your blood, and the guard of your mighty angels.
Make us calm and secure, Lord, and grant us healing and restorative sleep.

We join with you in this beautiful and sincere prayer and we thank God for the honesty and longing in your heart for Him, for true community, and for healing.

We hear your desire to be fully yourself in a prayer community where you are known, loved, and secure, and we know God places us in families and fellowships for just this reason. It is not good for us to be alone and He sets the lonely in families Psalm 68:6 and calls us to not forsake assembling together Hebrews 10:25. We pray the Lord leads you to faithful believers who will love you, sharpen you, and pray with you, for a friend who sticks closer than a brother Proverbs 18:24 and who loves at all times Proverbs 17:17. Two are better than one, and if one falls, the other will lift up his fellow Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, and we ask God to send such a trustworthy best friend into your life, one with whom you can pray, grow, and be a mutual blessing.

We also stand with you for protection, integrity, and deliverance from every wrong control and chain. The Lord longs to be your refuge and your security. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is a shield and rampart Psalm 91:4 and God himself is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. The integrity of the upright shall guide them Proverbs 11:3 and He upholds us in our integrity Psalm 41:12. Where there has been control, fear, or bondage, we remember that if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36 and that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We ask Christ to break every chain and to lead you into the freedom and security that comes from being His child, for you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption Romans 8:15.

We lift up your family with you, asking for healing and restoration from all pain and sorrow. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and He promises to restore to you the years that the locust has eaten Joel 2:25. We pray that you may meet often and be drawn ever closer to Jesus together, that the Holy Spirit would work deeply on each heart and will, filling you with living water. As Jesus said, He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water John 7:38, and whoever drinks of the water that He gives will never thirst John 4:14.

We are encouraged by your hunger to learn to pray and to read God’s word, for Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path Psalm 119:105 and all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Timothy 3:16. Continue to seek Him daily in His word and in prayer, for when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret Matthew 6:6, and He hears you.

We join you in asking for His blessing, the covering of the blood of Jesus, and the guard of His mighty angels, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11 and they are all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Hebrews 1:14. We pray He makes you calm and secure and grants you healing and restorative sleep, for you will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8 and He gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for this dear one and for this family who seek You. Cover them under Your wings and preserve their integrity. Be their security and their calm. Lead them to a true prayer community and to a faithful best friend to walk with in Christ. Break every wrong control and chain and set them fully free in Jesus. Heal and restore this family from all pain and sorrow and let Your Holy Spirit work on every heart and will, filling them with living water. Teach them to pray and to love Your word. Let them rest under Your blessing, under the covering of the blood of Jesus, and under the guard of Your mighty angels. Grant them peace and healing and deep restorative sleep each night. Draw them ever closer to Jesus and keep them protected in His name. We ask all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer so openly with us. We hear how deeply you long for a safe community where you can be yourself, for a trusted friend to pray with, and for your family to know healing, closeness to Jesus, and calm, restorative rest. Those are good desires and we are honored to stand with you in them.

Wanting security and belonging is part of being human, and loneliness can feel heavy even when we love the Lord. In our experience true friendship often grows slowly through simple, steady presence. Being in the same place regularly and letting one or two people see a little more of who you really are over time can open the door for the kind of trust you are praying for.

One gentle next step you could try is to choose one local gathering, a small prayer group, Bible study, or worship service, and plan to go consistently for the next few weeks. Stay a few minutes after to talk, and if someone feels safe, ask if you could pray together briefly that week. You do not need to share everything at once, just a small step toward being known.

We are holding you and your family in prayer.

Jesus, we bring our friend and their family before You. Cover them under Your wings, keep their integrity and give them security in You. Provide a faithful friend to walk and pray with, and draw each heart closer to Yourself. Work by Your Holy Spirit, teach them to pray and to hear Your Word, and guard their home with Your peace. Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His grace.

We thank God that you desire to be found under His wings, to be preserved in integrity and kept in true security. That security is not found in our own strength but in Christ, who is able to keep that which we have committed unto Him against that day. Every part of you, body and soul, being placed in His hands, shall be kept till He shall present you faultless. He is your refuge, and to trust Him is to have strong confidence and a place of refuge for your children also.

We pray that the Lord will deliver you from all wrong control and from every chain that would bind you. Our Lord Jesus was bound that His people might go free. When He was bound, His people were loosed, and He has delivered us from the power of darkness. We ask that He will bring you out even now with that word, Deliver him from going down to the pit, and that you may know the liberty of those who look unto Christ and live. Look to what Christ has done, trust in His one great sacrifice, and you shall find that Satan with all his power cannot hold you.

We ask the Lord to give you that true communion which belongs to His people. We cannot have communion with Christ until we are in union with Him, and when we are one with Him we are made one with one another through the precious blood and the risen life of our Lord. May He lead you to a faithful prayer community, a company of saints where you can be yourself in honesty and love, and may He send you a true friend with whom you may pray and walk closely with Jesus and be a blessing one to another. Such fellowship is thicker than water, for it is fellowship in Christ.

For your family we plead the healing and pardon that comes from our Lord. The inhabitant of Zion shall not say, I am sick, for the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. Where sin is pardoned, healing comes from the same hand. May the Lord restore your family from pain and sorrow, draw each heart nearer to Jesus, and cause you to meet often in peace and protection. May the Holy Spirit work upon your hearts and wills, filling you with His living water, teaching you to pray and to read the Word of God with joy and understanding.

We pray also that you may rest under His blessing, under the protection of the blood of Christ and the guard of His mighty angels. He gives His angels charge over His people, and He Himself preserves your going out and your coming in. May He keep you from the devices of the evil one, make you calm and secure, and grant you healing and restorative sleep. In the night watches when deep sleep falls upon men, He still opens the ear and seals instruction, and He can give you rest as one whom He keeps in perfect peace.

May the Lord draw you closer to Jesus day by day, make you more secure in Him, and cause you to declare with a joyous faith, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. We commend you to His covenant love, which deals out every trial in weight and measure, never in anger, and to His grace which is able to make you stand.
