Healing and reconciliation and God's intervention

Disciple of Prayer
Could you please pray for my marriage and God's intervention and to rebuke the devil's hand over my relationship and over my spouse's mind and to restore what the devil's trying to destroy And save my marriage that God put together

We hear the burden of your heart for your marriage and we join with you in seeking God's will together in Jesus' name for healing and reconciliation and for His mighty intervention.

We stand on the truth that marriage is a sacred and lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, created and joined together by God Himself. We strongly affirm God's design for marriage and His desire to see it honored and preserved. As it is written Matthew 19:6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart. And also Mark 10:9 What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. And Malachi 2:16 For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel. Your desire to see God save what He put together is aligned with His heart, and we commend you for fighting for your covenant in prayer rather than giving up.

We also recognize that our struggle is spiritual. Your request to rebuke the devil's hand over your relationship and over your spouse's mind is biblical, for our battle is not merely with flesh and blood. Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. And 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. We take authority together in Christ and rebuke every scheme, deception, confusion, and division the enemy is attempting to sow in your marriage. James 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We pray for clarity and peace to guard your spouse's mind and heart, and for every veil of lies to be lifted so that truth and love can prevail.

We noticed your request speaks of God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly come before His throne for help in our time of need. We pray you are trusting in Him alone for your salvation and for your marriage.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this marriage to You. We ask for Your divine intervention where human strength has failed. We rebuke the work of the enemy over this relationship and over the mind of this dear spouse, and we command every spirit of strife, hardness of heart, temptation, and division to leave and to flee in Jesus' name. We ask You to soften hearts, to heal every wound, to forgive every sin, and to restore love, trust, and unity where the enemy has tried to destroy. Lord, restore what has been broken, for You have promised Joel 2:25 I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this husband and wife, teach them to love each other as Christ loved the church, with patience, kindness, humility and forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Help them to walk in daily forgiveness, to speak truth in love, and to pursue peace and holiness together. We ask for wisdom, for godly counsel, and for perseverance to not grow weary in doing good. Let this marriage be a testimony of Your redeeming power and Your faithfulness, that what You have joined together would remain and glorify You. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to pursue reconciliation with a humble and forgiving spirit, and to seek wise biblical counsel from a pastor or mature believers who uphold the sanctity of marriage. Continue to submit yourselves to God, to love and serve your spouse even when it is difficult, and to guard your own heart and mind in Christ. God is able to heal and to reconcile, and we will continue to stand with you trusting Him for restoration.

We are praying with you for your marriage. We hear the ache in asking God to step in and guard what He joined together, and to push back anything trying to tear it apart.

We believe the spiritual battle you sense is real, and we also believe Jesus is already over it. It helps not to give the enemy more attention than he deserves, but to keep turning your eyes to Christ and asking Him to shape both hearts toward love and truth. Reconciliation is not something one person can force, it grows as both husband and wife choose to restore love and trust day by day, with God's help.

One simple next step that often helps in this kind of season is to set aside a short, steady time each day to pray for your spouse by name, for clarity and protection over his mind, and for your own heart to stay soft and faithful, and then to invite one trusted pastor or mature Christian couple who knows you both to walk with you consistently, not just once. Having that steady support keeps you from carrying this alone.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this marriage to You. Place Your hand over this couple and this home, quiet what is stirring confusion and hurt, and draw both hearts back to You and to each other. Give wisdom, humility and hope for each next step, and guard what You have joined together. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for your marriage has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with you, asking for His healing and reconciling grace to be poured out upon your home.

We pray that the God of Peace, who has on His part prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation, would draw near to you both. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing to the wounded heart. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon your marriage with healing in His wings, for pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed by the Lord upon His people.

We ask the Lord to rebuke the hand of the enemy that seeks to destroy what God has joined together. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, instituted by God, and what God has put together, we pray He would preserve and restore. We pray that He would guard your spouse's mind, bring clarity where there is confusion, soften what has been hardened, and break the power of every temptation and lie that would divide you.

We pray also for restoration. As Peter was down but was soon up again by a look from the Lord, so we ask that the Lord would grant to you both such a look of love and conviction that would sever you from all that harms and bring you back to Himself and to one another. That restoration which Christ gives can make you better and stronger afterwards, able to strengthen others by His grace.

We ask that reconciliation would be worked at once by the power of the Holy Spirit through the word of reconciliation, which is that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. May that same reconciling blood that brings peace with God bring peace between you. May there be honest confession, full forgiveness, and a new tenderness, for when Jesus heals He says, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing become one.

We are praying that the Lord would begin to heal you and that the healing virtue which His grace has infused would work health and cure till all that is broken is made whole. Look to Calvary, for there is the healing balm. Bring your wound to the great Physician, continue in His Word and in prayer together, seek the counsel and help of faithful believers around you, and trust Him to do what only God can do.

May the Lord hear, may He forgive, may He heal, and may He restore what the enemy has sought to destroy, for His glory and for your joy in Him.

We have heard your cry for your marriage and we join you in prayer before God for His mercy and intervention.

Scripture teaches that marriage is a bond ordained by God and that marriage is honorable and pure. It is not holiness itself, but it preserves the holiness which comes through faith, by keeping husband and wife in chaste and orderly love for one another and not permitting defilement. For this reason we pray that you will follow peace with all men, and holiness, living faithfully within the covenant God has joined together. What God has joined together, let no one separate, and the enemy has no right to claim what belongs to the Lord.

There is great hope when one member of a marriage turns to the Lord in prayer. The communion of marriage is deep, for the two become one flesh, and God often uses the faithfulness and love of one to draw the other back. Do not think that marriage itself is the hindrance. It is not wine that causes drunkenness but the misuse of it. So use this holy bond with moderation, with prayer, with patience and with grace. Like Anna who persevered continually in prayer, remain steadfast, not giving place to anger or bitterness, but adorning your marriage with reverence, gravity and orderliness.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, we lift up this marriage to You. Lord, rebuke the work of the evil one over this home and over the mind and heart of this spouse. Break every influence that would seek to destroy what You have joined together. Grant healing where there is hurt, reconciliation where there is division, and restoration where the enemy has tried to steal. Pour out Your peace upon this husband and wife, teach them to walk in holiness and faithful love for one another, and help them to use this bond as You intended. Restore what has been broken and establish them again in unity and strength, that their marriage may reflect Your faithfulness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue in prayer and in faith, trusting that God is able to save and to restore.

Your desire for healing and reconciliation in your marriage reflects God's own heart for what He has joined together. Scripture teaches that in marriage two become one, a deep unity where two lives are joined into one flesh. God created that bond and He values it, and your prayer to see it protected and restored honors Him.

There are wounds and broken places that no human effort can heal on its own. In the law, a person with leprosy could not be made clean by any human remedy. Only a direct and gracious act of God could heal him, and God in His mercy made provision for that person to be restored and brought back into fellowship when that healing came. In the same way, a marriage that feels diseased by hurt, distance, or confusion can only be truly healed by God's divine work of grace. The good news is that Jesus shows Himself willing to do that work. When He was asked for cleansing, His answer was willingness to make clean and to restore. He is still willing today to touch what we cannot fix ourselves.

You also asked for prayer against the enemy's influence over your relationship and over your spouse's mind. Jesus demonstrated complete power over the powers of darkness, power that cannot be denied and cannot be overcome. He also showed His divine authority to forgive sins. Only God can forgive sin, and Jesus as the Son of Man has that authority on earth. Where there has been sin, hurt, or hardness of heart, His forgiveness is the foundation for real change. The evidence of His work in a life is repentance, a true turning of the heart that brings change and restoration. That is what we pray for in both of you, soft hearts toward God and toward one another, and a willingness to turn from what harms the union and to walk in His grace.

Through the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, He delivers His people from bondage to sin. He does not leave us in that bondage but brings freedom and new life. Whatever has taken hold in your home, Christ is able to break its hold and to bring freedom, clarity, and peace where there has been turmoil.

I am praying with you for this divine work in your marriage.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this marriage before You. You joined this husband and wife together and You made them one. I ask for Your intervention and Your healing touch where only You can heal. Rebuke every work of the enemy that seeks to steal, confuse, and destroy. Guard this spouse's mind and heart, bring protection, clarity, and truth, and drive out darkness by Your power. Forgive sin where confession is needed, soften both hearts, and lead you both into genuine repentance and forgiveness toward one another. Restore what has been damaged, rebuild trust and love, and deliver you both from any bondage of sin through the blood of the Lamb. Make this union strong in You, and let Your grace be evident as You bring reconciliation and wholeness. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord together in prayer and in His Word, pursue honesty, forgiveness, and humility before Him and with one another, and trust Him to do the work that only He can do.
