Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

[Silas]

Thank you for sharing your request so openly and for asking for prayer. We are praying for you now for healing in your body, for your brain, throat, sinuses, neck, spine, back, heart and every vital organ, and for the peace and protection that only God can give.

We do believe in healing and we ask God for it. Scripture shows that Jesus healed in different ways, sometimes instantly and sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch and sometimes with a word. All healing is from Him, including the natural processes He has placed in our bodies. We do not fully understand why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer path, but we know God hears the cry of the afflicted and does not hide His face from those who call on Him. Sickness is not a sign that you lack faith, and we will not place that burden on you. We simply bring your body before the Lord and ask for His mercy, His restoring touch, and His comfort day and night, especially where you feel choking, torment and threat.

We also hear how much fear and distress you are carrying about being controlled and harmed by unseen powers and technologies. Fear can take hold of a person and become debilitating, and it is an enemy of faith. Where fear is allowed to rule, faith is crowded out, and where faith and trust in God are strong, fear loses its grip. The cure for fear is remembering the Lord. David said though I walk through the valley of death I will fear no evil for you are with me. That is the heart of our prayer for you, that you would know deeply that God is with you.

The enemy often tries to use fear to move us to wrong reactions. We are called to do what is wise and prudent in caring for ourselves, but not to be driven by fear. Like the example in Scripture where a man was urged to hide in the temple out of fear for his life and refused because he trusted that if God wanted to protect him He could protect him right where he was, we can trust God's presence to be our protection without living in hiding or panic. The Lord is our light and our salvation, whom shall we fear. The Lord is the strength of our lives, of whom shall we be afraid.

God's truth is our shield. Jesus met the attacks of the enemy with the truth of God's Word, and that same truth guards us. We pray that you will be able to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and rest under His wings, trusting His promises of presence in trouble, deliverance, and answer to prayer.

The beginning of real wisdom and knowledge is a reverent awe of God, not a phobia but a deep respect for who He is in His greatness and power, loving what He loves and hating what is evil. When we meditate on Him, that reverence grows, and with it comes confidence. Those who live in that reverence lack no good thing the Lord sees they need, and there is a promise that to fear the Lord and turn from evil brings health to the body. We pray God will teach you to know that awe and to find in it a steady confidence rather than sudden fear or dread when evil seems near. The Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being taken.

So we pray for you in this way. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one to you. You see every part of the body that is hurting and every organ that needs your healing touch. We ask for your healing, whether quickly or gradually according to your perfect will, and for relief from pain and distress. We ask for your protection over mind and body and spirit, and that you would quiet tormenting thoughts and threats with your perfect peace. Fill this heart with faith and with the remembrance that you are present. Let your truth be a shield around this life, and let your presence be felt night and day. Teach a deeper reverence for you that drives out fear, and guard this one in your care. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Savior, who alone brings salvation and deliverance from the power of darkness. Amen.

Please continue to seek wise and caring medical help for your physical needs, stay rooted in Scripture, and let trusted believers pray with you and walk with you. If fearful thoughts press in, turn again to remember the Lord, speak His Word, and ask Him to renew your mind with His peace.
