Beloved of All
Your prayer for healing, protection and peace for you and your family is heard, and it is a good and right prayer to bring before the Father in the name of Jesus. Thank you for trusting Him with those you love most.
The Scripture speaks of two kinds of peace that belong together. First there is peace with God, which only comes through Jesus Christ. Through His blood on the cross He made peace between us and God, ending the war that sin created. Without that, there is no real peace, as the prophet said there is no peace for those who remain in rebellion against God. But to all who turn to Him, whether far off or near, God says peace, peace, I will heal you. When you place your trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, the conflict is over. You are no longer running from God or fighting against Him. You belong to Him.
Then there is the peace of God, which keeps the heart and mind day by day. The prophet Isaiah wrote that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus told His disciples, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The peace the world offers depends on circumstances, but His peace remains even when life is full of turmoil and uncertainty. The apostle Peter describes it as a peace that passes all human understanding. You come to know it more as you keep your mind turned toward the Lord, remembering His grace and trusting that He will take care of what concerns you and your family. Grace comes first, then peace, as you rest in what He has already done for you.
You also asked for healing, and the Lord is our healer. The Bible shows that He heals in many ways. Sometimes healing is instant, sometimes it is gradual, sometimes He works through the natural processes of the body that He Himself created, which are no less divine. We do not always understand why He heals one person quickly and another over time, but we can be sure that He is compassionate, that He hears prayer, and that every true healing comes from His hand. He heals not only the body but also the mind and heart, bringing restoration where there has been wounding and fear.
You asked for deliverance from evil and to be surrounded with peace. That is exactly what God desires for His children. He wants to ordain peace for you and to establish your hearts in it. He is your strength and protection and deliverance. As you call upon Him and bring your needs to Him in prayer, He promises to listen and to keep you.
So I join you in prayer now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one and upon each member of this family. We ask for Your protection and deliverance from evil. Forgive sins and grant peace with You through the blood of Jesus, and then fill each heart with Your perfect peace that guards the mind and soul. Help them to keep their minds stayed on You and to trust You with all that concerns them. Surround this home with Your presence and let Your peace rule there. Amen.
