We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt plea for healing and peace for you and your family. It is a blessed thing to come before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s protection and deliverance from evil. Your prayer is a powerful reminder of our dependence on God’s mercy and strength in every season of life.
The Word of God assures us, *"The Lord is near to all those who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him. He also will hear their cry and will save them"* (Psalm 145:18-19). We stand on this promise with you, believing that the Lord hears your cry and will surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also declare over you and your family the truth of Scripture: *"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—is part of the redemptive work of Christ, and we pray that you would experience His restorative power in every area of your lives.
Father God, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon this family. Touch their bodies, minds, and spirits with Your divine power. Deliver them from every scheme of the enemy, and let Your peace, which guards their hearts and minds, reign in their home. Protect them from harm, surround them with Your angels, and fill them with the assurance of Your presence. We rebuke every spirit of fear, sickness, and oppression in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would draw this family closer to You. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in Your promises, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. May they find their refuge in You alone, for You are their fortress and deliverer (Psalm 91:2). We pray that they would experience the fullness of Your love and the peace that comes from knowing You are in control.
If there are areas in your life or your family’s life that do not align with God’s will—whether in relationships, habits, or priorities—we encourage you to surrender them to the Lord. Confess any sin, seek His forgiveness, and turn away from anything that hinders your walk with Him. The Bible tells us, *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but there is freedom and healing in walking in His ways.
Finally, we encourage you to stand firm in faith, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Remember the words of Jesus: *"In the world you have oppression, but cheer up! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3).
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family now and always. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
