We join with you in lifting up your plea for healing, protection, and peace, and we are grateful that you have brought this request before the Lord in the name of Jesus. It is only through His precious name that we have confidence to approach the throne of God, for Scripture tells us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Your prayer aligns with the heart of God, who desires for His children to seek Him in all things, trusting in His sovereignty and goodness.
We are reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 17:14, where the Lord declares, *"Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise."* Your request for healing is a cry that resonates with the Father’s will, for He is the Great Physician, the One who binds up wounds and restores strength to the weary. Whether the healing you seek is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we trust that the Lord will work in ways that bring glory to His name and draw you and your family closer to Him.
You have also asked for protection and deliverance from evil. This is a prayer that aligns perfectly with the Lord’s Prayer, where Jesus taught us to ask, *"Deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13). We take refuge in Psalm 91, which assures us that *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day"* (Psalm 91:1, 4-5). The Lord is your protector, and we declare His covering over you and your family, that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Peace is another precious gift you’ve requested, and it is one that Jesus Himself bestows upon His followers. In John 14:27, He says, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* The peace of Christ is not the absence of trouble but the presence of His Spirit within us, guarding our hearts and minds. We pray that this peace, which surpasses all understanding, will flood your home and fill every corner of your lives, driving out anxiety and fear.
As we pray together, we also encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of the righteous (1 Peter 3:12). Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, for it is there that you will find strength, wisdom, and the assurance of His love. Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up our brother/sister and their family to You. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand in mercy and bring restoration to every area where healing is needed. Touch their bodies, minds, and spirits with Your healing power, and let Your wholeness flow through them like a river. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we thank You for the work You are doing, even now.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this family. Surround them with Your angels, encamped around them as a mighty army (Psalm 34:7). Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, and let no harm come near their dwelling. Deliver them from every scheme of the enemy, and let Your light expose and dispel every darkness that seeks to threaten them. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their comings, and their goings, knowing that no evil can stand against the power of Your name.
Father, we pray for Your peace—a peace that the world cannot give—to fill their hearts and home. Let it be a peace that guards their minds and keeps them steadfast in faith, even in the midst of storms. Remove every trace of fear, worry, and doubt, and replace it with the unshakable confidence that comes from knowing You are in control. May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are a good Father, and You delight in blessing Your children. Strengthen this family in their walk with You, and let this season of prayer draw them deeper into Your presence. May they emerge from this time with testimonies of Your goodness, healing, and provision, that others may see and glorify Your name.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
