Healing and Peace for my ###

Disciple of Prayer
I would like prayer for my mom. She was diagnosed with stiff heart syndrome. She found out she is stage C. The stages are A,B,C,D. Stage A is the best case scenario giving 10-12 years life expectancy. I am absolutely devastated. She is my best friend AND sister in Christ. She has the kindest, softest heart of anyone I know and has been through so much and her faith and obedience to the Lord has been such an inspiration to me. It is ironic given the name of her disease. I am praying for full healing but I know that no matter what God is in control and he is still good. I will praise him from the mountain tops and also in the valleys. Please also peace for my mom and us all as we stay strong in faith and keep our eyes on Jesus. I have been submitting my prayer request everywhere I possibly can since the end of July! I trust God and I am at peace with whatever His will is. But I am going to keep on asking for prayer and praying fervently! ❤️

We are deeply moved by your love for your mom and by your honest faith in the midst of devastation, and we join you together before the Lord in Jesus' name to lift her up. We hear your heartbreak over this diagnosis of stiff heart syndrome at stage C and the weight of that life expectancy, and we also hear your beautiful testimony of who she is, a best friend and sister in Christ with the kindest and softest heart, whose faith and obedience have inspired you. The irony of the name of this disease is not lost on us, and we know our God sees the contrast between her tender spirit toward Him and what her physical heart is suffering.

We thank God for your trust that He is still in control and still good, and for your desire to praise Him both from the mountaintops and in the valleys. That is the faith that honors Him. We stand with you in praying fervently for full healing while also resting in His perfect will and peace.

The Scriptures remind us of His heart toward us in suffering. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Psalm 34:18 assures us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, our only mediator and hope. We lift up this precious mom to You. You know her by name, You formed her heart, and You have seen every act of faithfulness and kindness she has shown. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her physical heart. You are able to do far above all that we ask or think, and nothing is impossible for You. We ask that You would bring restoration, ease her symptoms, guide her doctors with wisdom, and if it be Your will, grant her many more years to testify of Your goodness. We speak Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Above all we pray for Your will to be done, for Your glory to be revealed in her life and in this family.

We also pray for Your perfect peace to guard her and all of you who love her. Pour out the peace that surpasses understanding over her mind and heart, calm every fear, and help you all to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith as Hebrews 12:2 teaches. Strengthen your faith as you have continued to faithfully seek prayer since the end of July. We rejoice with you that you will keep asking and praying fervently, for James 5:16 tells us the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. Help you to stay strong, to encourage one another daily, and to rest in Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

We thank You, Father, that through Jesus we can approach You with confidence and that You hear us. We will continue to keep your mom and your family in our prayers, asking for healing, comfort, and sustaining grace for each day, trusting You in the valley as much as on the mountaintop. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We hear how deeply you love your mom, and how heavy this diagnosis has felt since you first heard stage C. To love someone who is both your best friend and your sister in Christ, and to learn her soft, kind heart is living with something called stiff heart syndrome, is a lot to carry. That irony is not lost on us, and neither is your devastation.

We are encouraged by the way you are holding both truths at once, asking boldly for full healing while also trusting that God is still good and still in control whether on the mountain or in the valley. Praying fervently since July is not too much, it is faithfulness, and we want to keep praying with you.

In these weeks, it can help to have a couple of steady supports around you and your mom. If you are able to go with her to appointments, bringing another trusted person and a small notebook for questions can make it easier to remember what the care team shares when emotions run high. And as you keep lifting her up, give yourself permission to rest and let others carry the prayer burden with you for a time, you do not have to hold it alone.

Father, we lift this dear mom to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch according to Your will, and for deep, abiding peace for her and for her family. Guard their hearts, keep their eyes on Jesus, and give wisdom to her doctors and comfort for each day ahead. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your tender love for your mother and your earnest, fervent prayers have been heard, and we have carried them with you to the throne of grace. To hear that she who is both your best friend and your sister in Christ has been given this heavy diagnosis, stiff heart syndrome at stage C, is indeed a valley experience, and it is no wonder your heart is sore afflicted. Yet in your very sorrow you have spoken like a true believer, that you will praise Him from the mountain tops and also in the valleys, and that whether He grants full healing or sustains through trial, God is still good and still in control.

What time we are afraid, we will trust in Him. You have learned that holy art. This world was never meant to be our nest, and when thorns are planted in it, we are compelled to mount and find our soul's true home in a higher and nobler sphere. The Christian has God's promise for his pillow, and it is sweet sleeping when you can have a promise for the pillow at your head. The mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but God shall not change and His purpose shall not cease to stand. He is worthy of our confidence, and your Saviour waits to be trusted.

We do not offer you a beggarly, cowardly kind of peace which consists in shutting your eyes to reality. There is a filling peace and a well founded peace which comes only in believing. Faith brings peace to the soul, peace in believing, and there is no peace worthy of the name that is to be found in any other way. When you scatter the good seed of prayer upon these furrows which God's plow has made, know that He is able to make that seed take root. He who made the heart can soften and strengthen and heal it according to His perfect will. We pray that He would lay His healing hand upon your dear mother, if it be His gracious will to restore her, and that He would guide the hands and wisdom of those who care for her. And we pray more earnestly still that whether in healing or in sustaining grace, He would fill you all with joy and peace in believing.

May the Lord grant to your mother and to you that peace which meets every need of the heart, for all things work together for good to them that love God. May He give you to love Him who thus gives Himself to be trusted by you, and to labor for Him in whom you are trusting. Continue to pray fervently, as you have done since July, for He delights in the importunity of His children. Cast your burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain you.

We commend you to Him who has said, Your faith has saved you, go in peace. May that word sound as sweet music in your soul, and may you and your mother know that whether in life or in death, to be in Christ is to be safe, to be loved, and to be kept unto the expected end which the Lord has ordained for good.
