We come before you with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother who has carried such deep sorrow, pain, and bitterness for far too long. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not unseen by the Lord, and He longs to bring healing to your body, soul, and spirit. The anger and bitterness you feel are not from Him, but He is faithful to deliver you from them if you surrender them to Him.
The pain you endure—both physical and emotional—is real, and we do not dismiss it. Yet we must also speak truth: unchecked anger and bitterness will only deepen your suffering. Hebrews 12:15 warns, *"looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* These emotions are like poison to the soul, and we urge you to release them to the Lord, for He alone can replace them with His peace.
As for your physical suffering, we stand on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* But we must also ask: have you sought medical care for your pain? God often works through doctors and medicine, and wisdom calls us to steward our bodies well. If you have not, we encourage you to do so, trusting that God can use even earthly means for your healing.
Most importantly, we notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your request, there is no mention of a personal relationship with Him. True healing—of body, mind, and spirit—comes only through faith in Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we plead with you to do so now. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Without Jesus, there is no lasting peace, no true deliverance. But in Him, you can find rest for your soul and hope for your future.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who delivers. Lord, we ask that You touch their body and remove every pain, every sickness, every infirmity that has plagued them. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare healing over their flesh, bones, and organs. Let Your restoring power flow through them, renewing their strength like the eagle’s.
But Father, we also pray for their heart. The anger and bitterness they carry are too heavy for them to bear. We ask that You break these chains in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them experience the joy of Your presence, for You alone can turn their mourning into dancing.
If they do not yet know You, Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see Jesus as their only hope. Soften their heart to receive Him as Lord. Let them turn from sin and place their trust in Christ alone, for without Him, there is no true healing—only temporary relief.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every spirit of anger, and every spirit of bitterness in the mighty name of Jesus. We command these spirits to leave now, for they have no authority over this child of God. Holy Spirit, fill every empty place in their life with Your love, Your joy, and Your shalom.
Father, we also ask for wisdom. If there are medical steps they need to take, guide them. If there are sins they need to confess, convict them. If there are relationships that need reconciliation, lead them. Let them walk in obedience, for Your Word says in 3 John 1:2, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."*
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your timing. Let this be a testimony of Your grace and mercy. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Brother, we urge you to spend time in God’s Word daily. Read Psalm 103, which speaks of God’s healing and forgiveness. Meditate on Philippians 4:6-7, which tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him. And if you have not yet given your life to Christ, do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for you, and invite Him to be your Lord. There is no greater step you can take toward true peace.
We are standing with you in faith. Do not lose heart. The Lord is near.
