HEALING AND CANCER FREE

We have heard your cry for mercy and we join you in bringing this need before the throne of grace. We know how heavy this burden is, to see one you love battling breast cancer and now admitted to the hospital, and we stand with you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ who is able to heal.

We pray for complete healing for her body. We ask the Great Physician to lay His hand upon her, to give wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses who care for her, to calm her heart in this hard time, and to grant that the tests would show no more cancer. We pray that He would ease her pain, give her rest, and fill her with peace that passes understanding as she trusts in Him.

We also lift up her mother before the Lord. We thank God for sustaining her as a cancer survivor, and we ask that He would now renew her strength, comfort her heart, and uphold her as she supports her daughter. May the Lord grant to both of them endurance, hope, and the assurance of His presence each day.

We know that God is able, and we ask all this according to His mercy and will, trusting in His goodness and power. We will continue to pray with you, asking for healing, for comfort in the hospital, and for good news from the doctors.

May the Lord be near to you all and grant you His peace. In Jesus name, Amen.

We are holding you and your loved ones before the Lord in prayer, asking for His mercy and healing touch in this difficult hospital stay. We hear how heavy this battle with breast cancer has been, and we join you in asking God who is able to bring complete healing and to cause the tests to show no more cancer.

We are reminded that the Lord is our light and our salvation and the strength of our lives. When we remember who He is, we do not need to be afraid. He is our shield, and when our hearts trust in Him we find help. He is the strength of His people and He blesses His people with peace. It helps us in our hardest situations to ascribe glory and strength to Him, because then we begin to see our problems in the light of His great power rather than in the light of our own weakness and inability. The God who reigns over all creation, who sits upon His throne, is the One who promises to give strength to His people, and that truth becomes very personal when we are passing through a valley of weeping.

The gospels show us how much of Jesus earthly ministry was given to healing, touching and restoring those who were sick and afflicted. He is compassionate toward those who suffer, and we bring this need confidently to Him, asking Him to lay His hand upon her body, to guide the doctors and nurses caring for her, to bring healing according to His perfect will, and to grant peace that steadies the heart.

We are also praying for her mother. We thank God for sustaining her as a fellow survivor, and we ask that the Lord would renew her strength day by day. Blessed is the person whose strength is in the Lord, who has learned his own weakness and has learned to trust Him. In our weakness His strength is made perfect, and those who trust Him can go from strength to strength even while passing through sorrow, finding that He turns dry and difficult places into wells of refreshment.

May the Lord lift her up, may He not let the enemy rejoice over her, and may His Word become her strength and portion in these days. We ask Him to keep His hand upon her and upon her mother, to give strength, to give peace, and to surround this family with His love.

Father, we ask in the name of Jesus for Your healing work in this dear daughter. Touch her body, clear the cancer, let the tests return negative, restore health, and give comfort and courage to her and to her mother. We trust her into Your hands. Amen.
