Healing and bad dreams

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray Lord rebuke this bad dreams been feeling so tired lately in this heat and for pain and issues on my right arm, shoulder and legs. Please pray that the Lord will be gracious and heal them fully. Thank you and God Bless you all for your kind and faithful prayers for me and other hurting brothers and sisters in Christ on the site. Praises Jesus, amen

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your physical weariness, pain, and the troubling dreams that have been weighing on you. The Word of God assures us that He does not sleep nor slumber, and He is ever attentive to the cries of His children. We stand on the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." You are not forgotten, and your healing is already secured through the finished work of Christ on the cross.

The fatigue you feel in this heat is real, and we pray that the Lord would grant you strength and refreshment. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." May you find rest in Him, both physically and spiritually, as you trust in His provision.

The pain in your arm, shoulder, and legs is concerning, and we ask the Great Physician to touch you with His healing hand. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We declare that healing over you now, believing that God is able to restore what has been afflicted.

The bad dreams you mention may be a spiritual attack, and we take authority over them in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We rebuke any demonic influence seeking to disturb your peace and command it to flee in Jesus' name. You are covered by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also encourage you to examine your heart and mind for any areas of unconfessed sin, fear, or anxiety that may be opening doors to these attacks. Philippians 4:6-7 instructs, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Bring every concern to the Lord, and let His peace rule in your heart.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened with physical pain and spiritual oppression. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch every area of affliction in their body. Restore their strength, ease their pain, and grant them refreshing sleep free from torment. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression in Jesus' name, and we declare that Your peace will guard their heart and mind.

Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers them and for the authority we have in His name to resist the enemy. We break every assignment of the enemy against their life, and we command every evil influence to flee. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your presence be their comfort and shield.

We ask that You would strengthen their faith and remind them of Your promises. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no harm can befall them (Psalm 91).

We declare healing, restoration, and peace over them now, believing that You are working all things together for their good. Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand on God's promises, and do not grow weary in seeking Him. The enemy may try to steal your peace, but remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your mind stayed on Christ, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in faith, believing for your complete healing and deliverance.

We’ve been holding you up today, and we’re so grateful you let us share in this with you. Dealing with relentless pain, brutal heat, and sleep that leaves you more drained than rested, we know how that wears you down in body and soul. It’s not just the physical ache; it’s the mental fog, the way discouragement creeps in when you’re already running on empty.

A few things come to mind that might help alongside prayer. If the pain in your arm, shoulder, and legs hasn’t been checked out, we’d gently encourage a visit to your doctor, sometimes ongoing discomfort has a treatable root, and you deserve relief. For the bad dreams, many of us have found it grounding to speak a simple, quiet word of trust aloud before sleep, something like “I belong to Jesus; my rest is in His hands.” Not a formula, but a way to anchor your heart as you drift off. And in this heat, please don’t underestimate how much it steals your strength, give yourself permission to rest more, hydrate well, and lower expectations for a few days.

We’re asking the Lord to shield your nights and mend what hurts.

Jesus, you see this weary one. We ask you to rebuke the dreams that trouble them and bring a deep, restoring sleep. Quiet the pain in arm, shoulder, and legs, touch every affected place with your healing care. In this exhausting heat, be their cool shade and strength. Renew their body and lift their spirit. May they feel your nearness tonight and wake refreshed. We trust you, our Healer. Amen.

The furnace of affliction is heated seven times hotter, and the shadows of the night gather thick about the pillow, troubling the mind with visions of dread. Dreams of demons and flames are no strange thing to the wounded spirit, but there is a Physician who comes gently and sympathizingly, not with the harsh voice of an army surgeon crying, “A leg off here, an arm off there,” but with the touch that stills the fever and dispels the night-terrors. Bind the promise as a splint about that ailing arm and shoulder, for it is written, “Your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.” The very leaves of the Tree of Life, the least things about Christ, are for healing. That weary leg, that throbbing arm, they are not beyond the reach of His hand, for when He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up, the fever fled and she arose to minister. There is a personal contact, a grip of grace, that restores both the sinews of the body and the peace of the soul.

It is not merely the aching limb that cries out, but the heart fears the shadows and dreads the bed, lest it should be a tomb. Yet hear the Word: the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people, they have no need to say, “I am sick.” Pardon and healing are one blessed bundle, given freely when they are looked for least. The healing power is present where Christ is teaching, so let faith come by hearing and hearing by the Word. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, not for the lancet alone. If there be any root of sin feeding this pain and weariness, the same hand that forgives the palsied man speaks the word, “Arise, take up your bed, and go into your house.” The weariness of the heat is light indeed compared to the soul that tosses in its fever, but He who touches the body touches the spirit too, creating a new life-blood that makes the nature other than it was.

Welcome this healing from the pardoning hand. Do not let these pains or dreams go unattended, for it is no light thing to hear the Gospel irreverently, it may be the Spirit’s summons to the remedy. The Lord rebuke the bad dreams, yes, but do not then neglect the Physician’s voice in them. The kingdom of heaven received so little now that many go from bad to worse, yet the Master says, “Return! Return! Return!” There is joy over the poor lost sheep. The healing of the nations flows from the great conduit Head in abundance, and the least leaf is sufficient for your very frame. Look to Him, that when this season of pain is passed, you may rise, lift your own mattress, and minister to Him who healed you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

A fearful thing indeed is sin, and it often overflows from the soul to attack the body. Yet even in such trials, the Lord proves Himself a Physician who cares for the whole person. I exhort you, then, not to lose heart in these pains and restless nights. The heat and the weariness you feel are common to this frail life, but God can use them to rouse us from slumber and draw us to seek the true refreshment. The bad dreams that trouble your sleep, let them be rebuked in the name of Jesus, and fill your mind before you rest with the green pastures and still waters of holy meditation, for there remains a rest for the people of God. Labor to enter that rest, lest any fall through unbelief or be choked by the cares of this world.

I join my prayer with yours that the Lord will be gracious and heal your arm, shoulder, and legs, and grant you peaceful sleep. Yet I must also speak the harder word that brings true healing: examine your heart, and if there be any sin, do not remain without feeling, but repent, lest a worse thing come upon you. The physician of our souls sometimes permits bodily hurt for the curing of the inward sickness. Let this affliction spur you to that grief which is the mother of joy, and not to the fleeting ease this world offers. Learn to rejoice even now, be perfected, be comforted, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

The weariness in your body and those troubling dreams can leave you feeling drained and vulnerable, especially under the weight of this unrelenting heat. Jesus knows that bone-deep thirst. He stood before the crowds and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.” The pain in your arm, shoulder, and legs is real, and you are right to ask the Lord for full healing. Yet even as we pray for that physical relief, I want to gently remind you that our deepest need is always for the living water only He provides.

When our right arm aches or fails us, it is a vivid picture of something God has warned against all along: the temptation to make flesh our arm, to lean on our own strength or human solutions instead of trusting in the Lord. The curse falls on those whose hearts depart from Him and trust in man, but blessing rests on the one who relies on God alone. Let these physical limitations turn your gaze away from your own resources and onto the One who never grows tired or faint.

The bad dreams that rob your rest may be another front in this battle. The enemy loves to strike when we feel helpless, stirring fear and confusion. Cry out to the Lord to rebuke them; He is your shield. But also, search your heart. Sometimes God permits such deep unrest to expose an inner thirst that sleep cannot quench. The outward ritual of saying the right words or asking for prayer is empty unless there is a corresponding work of the Spirit within. Baptism cannot save you if it is only water on skin, it is the new consciousness before God, a heart truly turned to Him, that brings life.

Perhaps you feel like Jeremiah when he cried, “Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable?” He brought his honest complaint to the Lord, even when healing seemed far off. But hear the Lord’s answer to him: “If you return, then I will bring you again, and you will stand before me.” He is not a liar or waters that fail. When we return to Him, truly, not just with words, He restores us. So let this season of tiredness and pain be a call to return, to confess any trust you have placed in your own flesh, and to drink deeply from Christ.

We join with you now, asking the Lord Jesus to rebuke these bad dreams completely, and to stretch out His hand in gracious healing upon your right arm, your shoulder, and your legs. He is merciful. But even as you wait for the full answer, may you find that He Himself becomes your rest and your refreshment. Praise be to Jesus, amen.

I dreamed I was with my father, I had somewhere to go, but when I slept, I was a ghost, so out of fear that I might not wake up, I forced myself to wake up.
