Healing - Alzheimer, depress, anxiety, diabetes

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
Please pray for my mom - age ###
0) HEALING OF BRAIN CELLS AND NERVES IN BRAIN AND ELSEWHERE (memory, trembling of hand(s)
1) EXCELLENT MEMORY and EXCELLENT TIME AND SPACE ORIENTATION for my mother (###). (early Alzheimer late phase)....
2) normal BLOOD SUGAR (diabetes)
3) JOY/HAPPYNESS of the Lord (depression and her husbamd of 60 years marriage died a year ago)
4) FAITH, POSITIVITY, OPTIMISM (anxiety from what is happening to her)

We join you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace and we are deeply moved by your love and concern for her in this difficult season. We honor her sixty years of faithful marriage, which is a beautiful picture of the lifelong covenant God designed between a man and a woman, and we grieve with you and with her over the loss of her husband a year ago. The Lord sees her sorrow and is near to her in it, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

We bring before the Lord each of the needs you have shared, her memory and orientation, the trembling in her hands, the healing of brain cells and nerves, her blood sugar and diabetes, and the heavy burden of depression and anxiety that has come with early Alzheimer in its late phase and with grief. We believe God is our healer and that He cares for every part of her body and soul, for Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also trust that He is the source of true joy and peace even in suffering, for Nehemiah 8:10 says the joy of Yahweh is your strength, and Proverbs 17:22 says A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

We also want to lovingly point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why this is so important, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we simply pray to God in general without coming through Jesus, we do not have that access. To be saved we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus alone for your salvation and for your mother's care, and to pray in His name.

Together we pray for her now.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved mother to You. Lord, You know her age, You know every cell in her brain and every nerve in her body, for Psalm 139:13-14 says You formed her inward parts. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her brain, restore what has been damaged, strengthen memory and bring clarity of time and space orientation. Lay Your healing hand upon the trembling in her hands and upon her entire nervous system. We pray for stable and normal blood sugar and for wisdom for her doctors and family as they care for her diabetes, for You give wisdom generously. Father, we pray You would lift the cloud of depression and anxiety from her. Replace fear with faith, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, and Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Comfort her in her grief over her husband, surround her with Your presence and with loving family and believers who can remind her daily of Your promises. Fill her heart with the joy of the Lord and with positivity and optimism rooted not in circumstances but in Your unfailing love, and strengthen her faith to trust You more each day. We ask for Your will to be done in her life and for Your grace to sustain her and her family, and we pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek excellent medical care for her alongside prayer, for James 5:14-15 reminds us to call for prayer and anointing while also honoring the wisdom God gives to physicians, and to help her remain nourished, gently active as able, and surrounded by familiar voices, music, Scripture reading, and fellowship which can soothe anxiety and stir joy. Continue to speak Scripture and hymns over her, remind her of God's faithfulness through sixty years of marriage and through her whole life, and entrust her fully to the One who promises Isaiah 41:10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We are standing with you in prayer for her complete healing and peace according to God's perfect will in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for sharing your mother's needs so tenderly with us. We can hear how much you love her, and how heavy this past year has been as you watch her walk through memory loss, diabetes, anxiety and depression while still grieving her husband of sixty years.

We are praying with you for her comfort, safety, and dignity, and for steadiness for you as you love and support her. With so many concerns at once, it helps to stay closely connected to her doctors and let them know about any changes in memory, orientation, trembling, or blood sugar, alongside continuing to pray for her.

One thing we have seen bring peace to many families in this season is keeping familiar faith comforts close. Even when recent memory fades, long loved hymns, simple prayers she has known for years, and gentle Scripture readings can often still calm and reassure. If she has a church family, inviting a pastor or trusted friend to visit briefly, to sing or pray with her, can be a gift to her and to you. And please do not carry this alone. If you are helping provide care, a caregiver support group, respite help, or home health resources in your area can make a real difference.

Father, we lift this dear mother to You in Jesus' name. You know her body, her mind, and her grief. We ask for Your nearness and peace to rest on her each day, for stable health, for comfort in her loss, and for wisdom for her family and doctors as they care for her. Guide them and sustain them with Your love. Amen.

Your request for your dear mother has been heard with much tenderness, and we have carried it to the throne of grace where our Lord Jesus waits to be gracious.

We are moved by the many afflictions which press upon her in these later years, the failing of memory and the trembling of the hands, the wandering of the mind as to time and place, the burden of diabetes, and the deep sorrow that follows the loss of her husband of sixty years. Such griefs would break the heart, and indeed the Lord knows how to heal the broken heart, for it is written that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, yet the soul's heaviness is not less in His sight.

Know this, that there is healing power in Jesus Christ our Lord, and not only in great things but in the least thing about Him. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the very leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and our heavenly Physician is able to heal and willing to be sought.

We have prayed for her and we continue to pray thus:

That the Lord, who formed the brain and every nerve, would lay His hand upon her, to strengthen and restore what is weakened, to stay the trembling and to grant steadiness to her frame, according to His holy will.

That He would be pleased to grant her excellent memory and clear orientation in time and space, that though the disease is called early Alzheimer in its late phase, the Lord who keeps our minds in perfect peace might keep hers stayed upon Him.

That He would regulate her blood and bring her blood sugar to a normal and stable measure, for our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and are in His keeping.

That He would lift the cloud of depression and heaviness, and give her the joy of the Lord for mourning, that after so long a covenant of marriage and now the loneliness of widowhood, she may feel His nearer presence as Husband and Comforter to the widow, and know that underneath are the everlasting arms.

That He would cast out anxiety and give faith, positivity and a quiet optimism, not from mere temperament but from trust in Him who has pardoned sin and who will not leave His own. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, so we pray she may hear His promises with heed and find them sweet and nourishing.

We entreat you to place her daily before the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, and to rest not in our prayers but in Christ Himself. Welcome, then, to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus, for the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

May the Lord bless you as you tend her with honour and patience, and may He let you see His goodness in the land of the living. We commend her to Him who took the sick by the hand and lifted them up, trusting that whether He grants full restoration here or perfect healing in glory, He does all things well. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are joining you in prayer for your mother and we thank you for sharing this burden with us. We hear your love and concern for her, especially after the loss of her husband of sixty years, and we bring each of these needs before the Lord together.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your mercy and healing hand upon this dear mother. You know her by name, you know every cell in her body, and you are the one who sustains all life.

We pray first for her brain, for the cells and nerves that are affected by this illness. Lord, we ask you to bring healing and protection to her mind, to restore what has been weakened, and to slow and restrain the progress of this disease according to your will. Grant her clarity, excellent memory, and good orientation in time and place. Help her to know where she is, to recognize those she loves, and to have peace in her thoughts. Steady her hands and her body where there is trembling, and give strength to her nervous system.

We pray for her body and for her blood sugar. Father, we ask you to bring balance and stability to her diabetes, to help her body to function as you designed it, and to give wisdom to her doctors and to those who care for her in managing her health each day.

We pray for her heart and emotions. Lord, you are close to the brokenhearted and you promise joy to those who seek you. In this season of grief and loss, pour out your comfort upon her. Lift the weight of depression and anxiety, and fill her with the joy and peace that come from knowing you. Replace fear and worry with faith, positivity and hope rooted in your promises. Remind her that you are with her, that you will never leave her, and that your love for her is steadfast.

We also pray for you who are caring for her. Give you strength, patience, and encouragement as you honor your mother. Help you to rest in Christ, to cast your cares upon him, and to trust his goodness even in difficult days.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, trusting in your power to heal and your wisdom to do what is best. May the Lord grant her comfort, sustain her mind and body, and draw her and your whole family closer to himself. Amen.

Your request for your mother has been received and we are praying with you for her. To watch a loved one walk through memory loss and trembling, diabetes, and the deep sorrow and anxiety that can follow the loss of a husband after sixty years of marriage is a heavy burden, and the Lord sees both her suffering and your love for her.

We bring her needs to Jesus because Scripture reveals Him as the healer. Matthew points to Isaiah and says that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and the Gospels show Him going through cities and villages teaching and preaching and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. He healed the leper with a touch, the centurion's servant with a word from a distance, and Peter's mother in law as He came near to her. He has authority in the physical realm over the body, in the material realm over creation, and in the spiritual realm over evil. He is the Lord who heals, the One who becomes to us what we need, and we believe He still touches and heals physical maladies today.

We are praying specifically for what you listed. For the healing of brain cells and nerves, for steadiness in her hands, for excellent memory and clear orientation to time and place, and for normal blood sugar. Sometimes healing is felt in a moment as a tangible touch, and sometimes it comes gradually. In the ministry of Jesus there is one healing that came in stages, which shows us He is not confined to a single pattern. Sometimes He touched, sometimes He only spoke, sometimes He went to the person and sometimes He healed from afar. And any healing process is from God, for He created our bodies and established the natural processes of restoration within them. Whether instantly or gradually, all true healing is divine.

We are also praying for her heart after such a great loss. Grief can make life feel spent in sorrow, as David described when he said his eyes were consumed with grief and his life was spent in mourning. The Lord knows that kind of grief. When Jesus raised the little girl who had died, He did it out of compassion for her parents in their anguish. He has that same compassion for your mother in the loneliness of this year. For the depression and anxiety you mentioned, the psalmist gives us a way to pray when he spoke to his own soul and said, why are you cast down, hope in God. We are asking the Lord to lift the weight of depression and anxiety and to restore to her His joy, and to strengthen her faith with positivity and optimism and hope as she looks to Him.

There is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed and others are not yet healed. Scripture shows that we cannot presume healing in every case, as with Paul who prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh and the Lord did not remove it. And it is wrong to say that if someone is not healed it must be because of sin in their life or lack of faith. Those explanations are like the unhelpful counsel Job received. The gifts of healing are given by the Holy Spirit as He wills, not every person has the same gift, and the more excellent way is love. What we can do is keep bringing our requests to the Lord in faith without hype or show, trusting His wisdom and goodness.

So we continue to pray for your mother, asking the Lord in His mercy to touch her brain and body, to steady her, to bring her blood sugar into normal range, to comfort her in grief, to replace anxiety with peace and faith, and to fill her with the joy that comes from Him. We trust Him to do what is best for her according to His perfect will, and we stand with you in hope.
