Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for your father is heard and it is a beautiful thing to bring him before God with such love and faith. The heart you are appealing to is a Father's heart full of compassion.
Jesus came to show us exactly what the Father is like. He said that He did nothing on His own but lived in perfect harmony with the Father, seeking only the Father's will. The words He spoke were the Father's words and the works He did were the Father's works, because the Father was dwelling in Him. That means when you see Jesus healing sick bodies, lifting up the fallen, and mending broken lives with such tenderness, you are seeing the Father's own work in a needy world. If you have seen Jesus, you have seen the Father.
That is why we can come with confidence about your father's health. The Father's desire is to bring life and restoration, and Jesus has made the way for us to come directly to the Father. We do not need another mediator. Because you have loved Jesus and believed that He came from God, the Father Himself loves you. Jesus taught us to ask the Father in His name, and He promised that when we do, the Father may give what we ask, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Prayer opens the door for the Father to do what He already longs to do for His children.
So let us pray together to the Father in the name of Jesus for your dad.
Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear father before You. You know his body completely. We ask You to touch him with Your healing power. Remove every infection and every inflammation from his body. Heal the sore on his toe and bring complete healing to his feet and to his kidneys. Restore his health and strengthen him. We ask this trusting in Your love and mercy, believing that You hear us when we come in the name of Your Son. Let Your will be done and let Your healing work be evident in his life. In Jesus name, amen.
