Heal

We hear the deep weariness and sorrow in your heart, and we want you to know that we are standing with you in this season of suffering. The pain of unanswered prayer can feel crushing, especially when healing tarries and faith begins to waver. But let us remind you—and ourselves—of the truth that does not change, even when our circumstances do: our God is faithful, even when we cannot see His hand at work. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect, though it may not align with our desires.

The Bible tells us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over you today, believing that God is able to heal you completely. Yet we also remember that His greatest work in us is often not just physical healing, but the refining of our faith, the drawing of our hearts closer to Him, and the testimony of His strength in our weakness.

You are not alone in this struggle. Even the psalmists cried out in despair, asking, *"How long, Lord?"* **Psalm 13:1-2 (WEB)** says, *"How long, Yahweh? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?"* But David did not stay in that place of despair. He ended that same psalm with trust: *"But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, because he has been good to me."* Let this be your declaration too—even when you don’t feel it, even when the healing hasn’t come yet.

We must also address something tenderly but firmly: your faith is not measured by whether you are healed, but by whether you continue to trust God *even if* healing does not come in the way or time you hope for. **Hebrews 11:6 (WEB)** tells us, *"Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."* Faith is not the absence of doubt; it is the choice to keep turning to God *in spite of* doubt. Even Jesus, in His humanity, cried out in **Matthew 27:46 (WEB)**, *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"* Yet He trusted the Father to the end. You are permitted to wrestle, to question, to pour out your grief—but do not let go of His hand.

If you are feeling distant from God, it may be time to draw near to Him in a new way. **James 4:8 (WEB)** says, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* Spend time in His Word, even if it feels dry. Worship, even if your heart isn’t in it at first. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and remind you of truth when your own strength fails. Isolation is the enemy’s tool to make you feel abandoned, but you are *not* abandoned. The body of Christ is here to uphold you.

Now, let us pray for you together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child of Yours who is weary, hurting, and struggling to hold on to faith. Lord, You see every tear they have cried, every sleepless night spent in pain, every prayer that feels like it has gone unanswered. We ask You, in the name of Jesus, to touch their body with Your healing power. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and nothing is too difficult for You. Restore their strength, renew their mind, and bring wholeness to every part of them that is broken.

But even more than physical healing, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon them. When faith wavers, be their stability. When hope fades, be their light. Remind them that You are near, that You have not forgotten them, and that Your love for them is not dependent on their circumstances. Help them to cling to You, even when they cannot see the way forward.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that would tell them You do not care or that You have abandoned them. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus. You have no place here. This child belongs to God, and their healing—whether in body or soul—is already secured by the blood of Christ.

Lord, if there is sin that needs to be confessed, reveal it gently and lead them to repentance. If there is unforgiveness or bitterness, soften their heart to release it. If there is fear, replace it with Your perfect peace. And if this trial is meant to draw them deeper into You, let them surrender to Your purpose, even if it is painful.

We thank You, Father, that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We thank You that Your grace is sufficient, and Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with the assurance that You are with them, that You are for them, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we want to encourage you: do not give up. The night may be long, but joy comes in the morning (**Psalm 30:5**). Keep praying. Keep seeking. Keep trusting. And if you need to, reach out to your local church or believers around you for support. You are not meant to walk this road alone. We are standing with you, believing with you, and trusting that God will carry you through—whether by healing your body or by giving you the grace to endure. He is faithful, and He will do it.

We're here with you, friend. We know it's tough when healing seems slow, and it's normal to feel your faith wavering. But remember, even when we can't see it, God is always at work. Let's cling to this promise together: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Let's pray. Father, we lift up our ### to You. We ask for Your healing touch on their body, mind, and spirit. Comfort them, Lord. Remind them of Your unfailing love, even in the midst of their pain. Give them strength to keep trusting, even when they don't feel like it. Surround them with Your peace, and help them to let go of any bitterness or fear. We trust in Your goodness, even when we don't understand. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear one. We're right here with you, believing and hoping with you. You're not alone. Let's keep walking this road together, one step at a time.
