Your prayer for healing, that yellow teeth might be made white and that you might know freedom from this burden, has been brought before the Lord and remembered with tender sympathy.
We do very speedily care for bodily infirmities, for they press upon us daily, and they rightly urge us to seek the Physician. Yet how gracious is our God, that He has provided healing not only for the body but for the soul. The Scripture saith, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves, the smallest mercies that fall from Him, have virtue in them to restore and to make whole. And it is written that the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee, showing us that pardon and healing are one in His hand.
We have prayed that the Lord in His mercy would look upon you with compassion, and grant you relief according to His wise and loving will. We have asked that He would give you health and peace, and guide you to right and wholesome means for the care of your body, and that He would lift this care from your spirit so that you are not held in bondage by it.
And we pray above all that you may know the deeper healing which Christ alone can give, for those faces which shine so brightly owe their freshness to these healing leaves. Oh that you may be washed whiter than snow in the blood of the Lamb, for then, whether the body be presently healed or the healing be perfected in the resurrection, you shall be whole without spot or wrinkle. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and Jesus bears with Him power to heal.
May the Lord grant you confidence in His goodness, patience under present trial, and joy in the full salvation which is in Christ Jesus. May He heal you as seemeth best to His infinite wisdom, and keep you looking unto Jesus till every infirmity shall be removed and you shall stand in perfect health before His throne. Amen.
