We join you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father and we ask for His healing touch upon your gums on the upper front of your teeth, that you may be free from pain, inflammation, and any infection or disease there.
We are reminded that our God cares for every part of our bodies, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made and our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We take comfort in His promises, for it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the truth in 1 Peter 2:24, by whose stripes you were healed, and in Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And there is no other name by which we can be saved, as it says in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know His healing and His peace, we first receive His gift of salvation by believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, as taught in Romans 10:9. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that we are brought near to God and our prayers are heard.
So together we pray, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You see the discomfort and concern over the gums on the upper front teeth and You know the desire to be free and whole. We ask You to touch and restore those gums, to bring down any swelling, to cleanse any infection, and to restore healthy tissue. Grant complete healing according to Your will and Your mercy. Give wisdom and guidance to any dentist or caregiver who may help, and help us to be good stewards of the bodies You have given us. Fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses understanding and with faith to trust You in all things. We ask for strength to not be anxious, but as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, to make our requests known to You with thanksgiving. We thank You now for Your love, Your compassion, and Your power to heal. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus, our Healer and our Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord daily, to care for your body with diligence while trusting Him for the outcome, and to seek practical care as needed while believing that James 5:14-15 remains true, that the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up. Keep drawing near to Jesus and resting in His care for you.
