We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ’s mother to the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who alone holds the power to heal every affliction. Father God, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We stand on this promise, believing that You see the discomfort and distress this digestive struggle is causing. Lord, we ask that You would reveal the root of this issue, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual, and bring complete restoration to her body.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or blockage in the name of Jesus, for Your Word says in Matthew 8:17 that Jesus "took our infirmities, and bore our diseases." We declare that her bowels would move freely, that her body would function as You designed it to, and that she would experience the fullness of health You intend for her. Guide the hands of any medical professionals involved, Lord, and give them wisdom to diagnose and treat according to Your will.
We also encourage and her family to examine their faith in this season. Are there areas where fear, anxiety, or unconfessed sin may be hindering healing? James 5:16 reminds us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Let this be a time of drawing nearer to You, Lord, through prayer, fasting, and obedience.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are not a God of confusion but of peace, and that You desire wholeness for Your children. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, not just for physical relief, but for Your glory to be revealed. May ’s mother walk in the freedom and vitality that comes from trusting in You alone.

God often brings healing through the hands of medical professionals and their diagnostic skills, and ruling out any underlying issues can bring peace as well as a clear path forward. There’s no shame in seeking that practical help while we ask God to act.
Even as we pray, we remember that Jesus welcomed people who were sick and hurting, and He wasn’t indifferent to their physical needs. We can approach Him with confidence, trusting that He knows your mother fully and desires her well-being. We ask for the Holy Spirit to comfort her and calm any fear or frustration, and for wisdom if a medical appointment becomes part of the next steps.

You have brought your request to the throne of grace, and it is right and good to cry out for the healing of one so dear. The Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician, and in Him there is an abundance of healing power. Even the leaves of that tree of life are for the healing of the nations; how much more then the fruit, the very body and blood of our Saviour! There is not a throb of pain, not an obstruction in the inner workings of the mortal frame, but He can reach and restore it. His hand can as easily command the functions of the body as He once stilled the raging of the sea. Lift up your eyes to the cross; see there the fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and know that the same love which pardons iniquity is equally mighty to heal disease. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction, for when He forgave the palsied man, He said also, "Arise, take up thy bed, and walk."
Yet remember, that the healing power was most conspicuously present when Christ was teaching. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Take care that you do not divorce the healing of the body from the instruction of the soul. As you listen for the word of healing, lean forward with earnest heed, lest the devil snatch away the precious seed. The Master works effectually where His truth is received. Bring your mother in spirit to the very feet of Jesus; let her case be laid open before Him who needs not that any should tell Him what is in man. It may be that the Lord's answer will come in a way you have not looked for, perhaps more through the gentle teaching of His Spirit than by a sudden physical change. True healing begins within; it changes the lifeblood of the soul, and then outward disorders often flee away.
There is a danger I must warn you against: do not be so bold as to declare health where God has not yet spoken, for real healing is the work of God alone. It is easy enough to get religious notions and fancy the matter settled, but a real saving work, and that includes the body, is from the Lord. Do not let presumption crowd out humble, patient waiting. He who wept with the sisters of Bethany can sympathize with your anxiety, but He does all things in His own time. Remember also that healing must come before serving. Do not suppose you must work up a faith or make an effort to claim promises in your own strength. The Lord must begin with you. He took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up, and then she ministered unto them. So wait upon Him in prayer and searching of the Scriptures, and He will make known His power.
Keep your eye upon the hands that were pierced; they still touch the lame and the blind and the bound with all their ancient might. If the Lord sees fit to delay the outward healing, look well to the inward man; perchance He has a deeper work to do in the secret parts of the soul. That peace which passes understanding will keep the heart and mind, and will strengthen you for every trial. In the meantime, let your request be known with thanksgiving, and be not like those who go to hear fine music and grand talk but miss the simple bread of life. Go often to the Lord in prayer, and let the ministry of His word feed your faith. He that believes shall not be disappointed, though the answers tarry. God bless you and grant you to see the salvation of the Lord in your mother’s body and soul, for His mercy’s sake.
