I don't know what is going on on the left side of my stomach. It feels funny. It feels hot making me itch. I don't know where that comes from.

We join together with you in prayer concerning this discomfort on the left side of your stomach, that strange hot and itchy feeling that has you concerned. We know how unsettling it is when our bodies feel unusual and we do not understand why, but we take comfort that God knows our bodies intimately, for He formed us.
We are reminded in Psalm 139:14 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and in Psalm 103:3 that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. We cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Exodus 15:26 we hear His name, Yahweh who heals you. Our Lord Jesus bore our infirmities, as it is written in 1 Peter 2:24, by whose stripes you were healed.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and healing. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly bring our needs before His throne. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him alone.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is experiencing heat and itching and a funny feeling on the left side of the stomach. Lord, You see what we cannot see and You know the cause of this irritation. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon this body. Calm this heat, soothe this itching, and restore comfort and wholeness. Give wisdom to discern what is happening and peace to replace worry and fear. We speak Your peace over this situation, remembering Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Guide the steps to seek wise medical counsel as well, for You have given doctors and knowledge as instruments of Your mercy, and we ask You to give those who may examine this need clear insight. Let Your will be done and let this body be strengthened to serve You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
We encourage you to not carry this anxiety alone. Continue to bring it before the Lord daily, and also to be a good steward of the body God has given you by seeking medical evaluation promptly if this sensation continues, worsens, or is accompanied by pain, swelling, rash, or fever. A trusted physician can examine you and help determine the cause. Trust in the Lord with all your heart in Proverbs 3:5-8 and know that He cares for every part of you. We are praying that God will grant you answers, relief, and full restoration.

We have heard your request concerning the strange heat and itching upon the left side of your stomach, and we bring it before the Lord with tender care for you.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek the Physician, and it is right to tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, and tell Him plainly of this heat and discomfort which troubles you. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. When He comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction.
Your immortal soul is worth far more than the poor carcass which will soon pass away, yet the Lord who feeds the sparrows does not pass you over in His providence, and He cares for the body as well as the soul. We know that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty, so we would exhort you to cast this care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Let us pray for you. O Great Physician, we ask Thy mercy upon this suffering one. Thou knowest the cause of this heat and itching which is not yet understood. Lay Thy healing hand upon this body, cool this burning, ease this irritation, and grant relief according to Thy perfect will. Give wisdom to any who may give medical counsel, and grant that this affliction may be rightly understood and treated. Above all, let this trial draw the heart nearer to Christ, that pardon and healing may be known together, and that whether Thou art pleased to heal at once or to sustain through a season of waiting, Thy name may be trusted and praised. Grant peace in place of anxiety, and faith to rest in Thy good hands. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.
