We join with you in lifting up your dad before our heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We are moved by your love for your father and your desire to see him restored to good health. We bring his specific needs before the Lord, the infection to be cleansed, the inflammation to be calmed, the sore on his toe to be closed and healed, his feet to be strengthened to walk, and his kidneys to be strengthened to do their work faithfully.

We take comfort in knowing that our God is our healer. He says in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And again in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also remember the promise in James 5:15, And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Our God sees your dad, He knows every cell and every need, and His compassion does not fail.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we thank You for being our great physician. We lift up this dear father to You now. Lord, we ask You to touch his body with Your healing hand. Cleanse the infection from his system, calm all inflammation, and cause the sore on his toe to close and heal completely. Strengthen his feet that he may walk again with steadiness and without pain, and strengthen his kidneys to function as You designed them to do. Restore him to good health according to Your will and mercy. Give wisdom to his doctors and caregivers, comfort to his family as they wait upon You, and fill them all with Your peace that surpasses understanding. We ask that You would be glorified in his healing and that his restored health would be a testimony of Your goodness. We pray all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to keep praying without ceasing, while also faithfully following the medical care He has provided. As it is written in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. Keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you and for your dad, and He is faithful to hear the prayers offered in Jesus name.

We were so touched by your love for your dad and the careful way you lifted each need before the Lord. Watching a father struggle with infection and pain in his feet and concerns with his kidneys is heavy, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

We are asking God to bring healing to his body, to ease the inflammation and close that sore on his toe, to give strength to his feet and restore his kidneys to do their work well. We trust our Father hears every detail you have brought to Him.

Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to stay closely connected with his doctors and care team and to let them know promptly about any changes in the infection, the sore, or how he is feeling overall. They can walk with you in caring for him day by day.

You are carrying a lot as you love and support him. We are praying God gives you peace and strength as you wait on Him.

Father, we lift this dear dad to You. Please touch his body with Your healing hand, cleanse infection, calm inflammation, heal the sore on his toe and strengthen his feet and kidneys. Give him comfort and renewed health according to Your will and give his family peace as they trust You. In Jesus name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer for your father has been heard and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We ask the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who viewed aright becomes not the object of our dread but of our gratitude and love, to look upon your dad in tender mercy. For the Father Himself loves you, and delights to do good to His children according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We pray that He will cleanse the infection, calm all inflammation, close and heal the sore upon his toe, strengthen his feet that he may walk again with firmness, and strengthen his kidneys to do their appointed work. May the Lord restore him to good health and sustain him by His gracious hand.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue. When the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing come together from His pierced hand. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and He is still the heavenly Physician whose work is not to wound but to bind up and make whole.

So we commend your father to that great Physician, praying that the Lord would purge every evil, change the life blood and make the nature whole, and that whether by quiet means or by marvelous mercy, the Lord would be pleased to raise him up again. We pray also for you, that you may trust your heavenly Father as a child trusts a loving parent, leaving all that you cannot control in His wise and sovereign hands, and saying with our Lord, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.

May the Lord grant you peace as you wait upon Him, and may He be glorified in your father's body, whether by healing or by sustaining grace. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, through whom we have forgiveness and access to the Father.

Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for your love for your father. I join you in bringing him before the Lord who is merciful and full of compassion, and who hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together for him. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear father to you. You know his body and every need. We ask you to cleanse the infection from his body, to calm all inflammation, and to close and heal the sore on his toe. Lay your healing hand upon him, strengthen his feet to walk steadily again, and strengthen his kidneys to do their work well. Restore him to good health according to your mercy and wisdom, and grant him comfort, peace, and renewed strength day by day.

We thank you that you are near to those who call upon you, and that all healing and life come from your hand. Grant wisdom to those caring for him, and give peace and hope to his family as they trust in you. May your will be done in his life, and may he feel your presence and love through this time.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who suffered for us and lives to intercede for us. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and trust in his goodness, and continue to follow the care and guidance given by his doctors. The Lord is faithful and he does not forget the prayers of his people.
