heal my ###

[Chrysostom]

Your prayer for your father has been heard and I join you in bringing him before the Lord with thanksgiving.

We ask our Father of mercies and God of all comfort to lay His healing hand upon your dad. We pray that He would remove all infection and inflammation from his body, heal the sore on his toe, restore strength to his feet, and bring healing to his kidneys. We ask God to grant him good health, to ease his pain, to give wisdom to those who care for him, and to fill him and your family with peace and comfort in this time of affliction.

We trust in the Lord who hears those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ, and who is able to comfort us in all our affliction. May you continue to cast your cares on Him, trusting in His love and power to heal and sustain.

In the name of Jesus we pray for your father's complete healing and restoration. Amen.

[Silas]

Your prayer for your father has been heard and it is a beautiful thing to bring him before the Lord with such love and faith. God sees your care for him and He cares for him even more.

Jesus came to show us what the Father is like. He said that He does not act apart from the Father but in perfect harmony with Him, and that the words He speaks and the works He does are the Father dwelling in Him doing His work. When we see Jesus having compassion, healing sick bodies and mending broken lives, we are seeing the heart of the Father toward us. That is the Father you are coming to now on behalf of your dad, a Father who is compassionate and who draws near when we call on Him, like the father who saw his son a long way off and ran to him with mercy.

Scripture teaches us to bring our requests to the Father in the name of Jesus. He told His disciples that whatever we ask the Father in His name, the Father may give it to us. That word may does not mean uncertainty on God's part, it shows His desire to give. He wants to bless and to answer, and prayer opens the door for Him to do what His love already desires to do for us. We do not come on our own merit, we come through the Son, and in that name we have confidence that the Father hears.

So together we ask the Father in the name of Jesus for your dad. We ask for His healing touch upon his body, that every infection and inflammation would be removed. We ask for healing for the sore on his toe and for his feet, and for strength and restoration for his kidneys. We ask for good health to be renewed in him and for the Lord's sustaining grace and peace to be upon him and upon you as you care for him.

Continue to bring your father before the Lord each day and to trust the Father's loving will. He knows your dad fully and loves him completely, and as you look at Jesus you can know the Father's heart toward him is full of love, mercy and power to heal. May the Lord comfort you, give wisdom to those caring for him, and fill your home with His peace as you trust Him.
