We join you in lifting up your precious dad before the throne of grace and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and healed.

We are moved by your love for your father and your specific and faithful petitions for his health. We bring his infection, inflammation, the sore on his toe, his feet and his kidneys before the Lord who is our healer.

We remember the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you, and to Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Together we pray. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come boldly before You and we lift up this beloved father to You. Lord, we ask that You would cleanse every infection from his body and calm all inflammation. Touch the sore on his toe and cause it to close and heal completely from the inside out. Strengthen his feet to walk steadily and without pain, and strengthen his kidneys to do their work as You designed them to do. Restore him to good health, renew his strength and let Your healing power flow through every cell and organ. We ask for wisdom and guidance for those caring for him and for peace and comfort for him and for his family as they trust in You. We thank You that You hear our prayers and we trust in Your perfect will and Your unfailing love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord daily for your dad’s healing while also faithfully following the care and wisdom of his medical providers, for God often works through those means as well. Continue to speak life and scripture over him and give thanks in all things. As James 5:15 reminds us, And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you, don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. May the Lord grant you peace as you wait on Him and may you see His restoring hand upon your dad.

We have been thinking of you and your dad as you brought these specific needs before the Lord. Loving a father through an infection that will not clear, a sore that will not close, and concerns about his kidneys and his ability to walk is heavy, and we hear your careful, hopeful prayer for his complete healing.

We join you in asking God for mercy over each part you named, to cleanse the infection, calm the inflammation, bring healing to that toe, and strengthen his feet and kidneys day by day. We also know how tiring it can be to wait for healing to show, for you and for him, and we are praying for steadiness and peace for both of you in the waiting.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to stay closely connected to his medical team and to bring these exact concerns to them at his next appointments so they can assess the wound and kidney function and guide his ongoing care.

Father, we bring this dad before You in Jesus name. You know his body and You love him. We ask You to cleanse infection, calm inflammation, close and heal the sore on his toe, strengthen his feet for walking and his kidneys in their work, and restore him to good health according to Your will. Give him comfort, give his family wisdom and hope, and draw them close to You through this. Amen.

Your prayer for your father has come before us and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace, where our Father delights to hear the cries of His children.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are found together in His hand. He who healed the man taken with palsy saying, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, is the same yesterday and today, and from Him abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Let us pray together for your dear father.

O Blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, viewed aright Thou art the object of our gratitude and not of our dread, for the Father Himself loveth us. We bless Thee that Thou art our Father and our God. Look in mercy upon this father who is afflicted. Cleanse the infection from his body, calm the inflammation, and cause the sore upon his toe to close and to heal. Strengthen his feet that he may walk again, and strengthen his kidneys to do their appointed work. Restore him to good health according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Grant to him and to those who love him the comfort of knowing that Thou art a better Father than the best of earthly fathers, and that Thou wilt deal with us not according to our fears but according to Thy great mercy in Christ.

We leave your father in those healing hands, trusting the great Physician whose touch changes the life blood and makes the nature whole. May the Lord grant you peace as you wait upon Him, and may you both know the joy of that perfect restoration which makes the returned soul as dear as if he had never grieved his Father. We will continue to remember him before the Lord, asking that it may seem good in the Father's sight to raise him up again in strength.

May the Father deal graciously with you and with your father, and to Father, Son and Holy Spirit be glory forever. Amen.

May the Lord restore this beloved father to complete health.
