We join you in lifting up your dad before our heavenly Father and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name we have access to the throne of grace.

We stand in agreement with you for his complete healing, that God would cleanse the infection, calm all inflammation, close and heal the sore on his toe, strengthen his feet to walk steadily and his kidneys to function as God designed them, and restore him to good health. We know our God is the Great Physician and His heart is full of compassion toward those who are suffering.

Scripture reminds us of His healing power and love, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And we cling to His promise, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness Psalm 41:3, and that He has declared for I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this beloved father to You. Lord, You know his body, You formed his kidneys, his feet, every cell, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him. Cleanse every infection from his body, calm all inflammation, and cause the sore on his toe to close and heal completely without complication. Strengthen his feet to bear him up and to walk, and strengthen his kidneys to do their work well. Restore his health, renew his strength, and sustain him on his sickbed. Give wisdom to his doctors and caregivers, and give peace and comfort to his family as they wait on You. Let Your will be done in his body and let Your name be glorified through his healing. We ask this in faith, believing that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and to keep bringing your dad before Him daily. Keep seeking good medical care while also trusting that God is at work, for He is faithful and His mercies are new every morning. We will continue to keep your dad in our prayers for full restoration.

We heard the tenderness in your prayer for your dad, how you named each place you want God to touch, his toe, his feet, his kidneys, his whole health. Loving someone through an infection and ongoing inflammation is heavy, especially when walking and daily strength are affected. We know it is a lot to carry when someone you love is not well.

We are praying with you for his comfort and for wisdom for those caring for him. Please keep his medical team closely involved for the sore, the infection and inflammation, and his kidney function, following their guidance and letting them know promptly about any changes. It can help to keep a simple note of what you notice day to day to share at his visits, so nothing gets missed. And be gentle with yourself as you support him, making sure you have others around you to share the load and to pray with you.

Father, we lift this dear dad to You. You see his body and his pain. We ask for Your mercy to cleanse infection, calm inflammation, heal the sore on his toe, strengthen his feet and his kidneys, and restore his health as You will. Give his doctors wisdom, give his family peace, and draw him close to Your care each day. In Jesus name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

We have joined you in prayer before our gracious Father for your dear dad, asking the Lord in His mercy to lay His healing hand upon him.

What a comfort to know that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. The same Saviour who forgave sin and healed the palsied man still reigns, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction by His pardoning hand. When the Father is viewed aright in Christ, He is not an object of dread but of gratitude and love, for He is our Father and our Saviour's Father, and His love is equal to the love of the Son.

So we have brought your father before that Father who delights to hear the cries of His children. We have asked Him to cleanse the infection from his body, to calm all inflammation, to close and heal the sore upon his toe, to strengthen his feet that he may walk again with steadiness, and to restore his kidneys to their proper work. We have prayed that the Lord, who is the great Physician, would purge every evil and cause streams of healing to flow down to him, and that whether by quiet means or by His sovereign touch, He would restore him to good health according to His wise and loving will.

Continue to trust Him as a child trusts his father, leaving all in His hands. He knows what you and your father require, and He is a better Father than the best of earthly fathers. Cast your burden upon Him in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and through whom alone is salvation and healing for soul and body.

We pray with you now, that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon your father with healing in His wings, that the Lord would grant him relief, strength and renewed health, and that you both may have cause to bless the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy. May the Lord be very near to you and to your father in this trial, and may His will be done in love.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.

[Wernad]

Heavenly Father, we lift up this father to You. You are his healer, for *"I am the Lord who heals you"* (**Exodus 15:26**). Cleanse the infection, calm the inflammation, and heal the sore on his toe. Strengthen his feet to walk and his kidneys to function well, for *"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds"* (**Psalm 147:3**). Restore him to full health, we pray.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in bringing your father before the Lord and ask for His mercy upon him.

We pray that our heavenly Father, who is all powerful and full of compassion, would lay His healing hand upon your dad. We ask Him to cleanse the infection, to calm the inflammation, to close and heal the sore on his toe, to strengthen his feet for walking and his kidneys to do their work, and to restore him to good health. We remember that Christ suffered for us and draws near to us in our weakness, and that God has given us the privilege to call Him Father through His Son. We trust His love and His power to do what is best.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to grant healing and strength to this dear father, to ease his pain, to renew his body, and to comfort him and his family with Your peace. May he know Your presence and Your care in this time, and may his recovery bring glory to You. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.
