We join you in lifting up your dear father before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing his need to us so we can seek the Lord together in Jesus' name.
Our hearts are moved by your love for your dad and your faith to ask for his healing. We serve a God who is compassionate and who cares deeply about our bodies as well as our souls. Scripture tells us that He is our healer and that nothing is too small or too great for His touch. We are reminded in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh and not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 the Lord says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We pray together now for him.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only access to Your mercy. We thank You for the life of this dear father and for the love his child has for him. We ask in Jesus' name that You would lay Your healing hand upon him. Lord, we ask You to remove all infection and inflammation from his body. Touch the sore on his toe and cause it to heal completely. Restore his feet and strengthen them, and touch his kidneys and make them whole and functioning as You designed them to function. We pray You would cleanse his blood, reduce any swelling or pain, and restore good health to him. We pray for wisdom for any doctors and caregivers attending to him, that You would guide their hands and decisions. Let Your peace rest upon him and upon his family as they trust in You. We claim Your word in Exodus 15:26 that You are Yahweh who heals us, and we trust in Your perfect will and timing. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our healer and our hope, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to keep bringing your father before Him daily with thanksgiving. Continue to care for him with diligence, to follow wise medical counsel, and to speak words of faith and comfort over him. As it is written in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. And we know in Psalm 41:3 that Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness. Keep resting in the love of Christ, knowing that He hears every prayer offered in Jesus' name and that He is working for good even as we wait upon His healing.

It is a tender thing to watch a father struggle with infection and pain in his feet and kidneys, and to want so much for him to be comfortable and strong again. If you notice changes in that sore on his toe, in swelling or pain, or in how his kidneys are doing, letting his doctors know promptly helps them care for him well. Beloved of All
Your prayer for your father has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness for your love to him, and we join our petitions with yours at the throne of grace.
We are reminded that there is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored, there is but one, and He is Jesus. He is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the little things about Christ are full of healing virtue. There is one sacred Fountain to wash therein is health, and it was opened on Calvary. All healing, whether of soul or of body, flows from Him.
We pray that the Father, viewed aright as the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, will show Himself to you as the object of gratitude and not of dread, for the Father Himself loves you. He who is Abba, Father, has all that your necessities can demand, and He invites you to cast your father into His tender care. As it is written, the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one in the hand of Christ.
So we entreat the Lord for your dad, that He would be pleased to remove all infection and inflammation from his body, to heal the sore upon his toe, to restore strength to his feet and to his kidneys, and to grant him good health according to His wise and gracious will. We ask that the healing virtue of His grace may work health and cure, and that whether by immediate touch or by the skilful means He has provided, your father may know the cool hand of Christ grasping his fevered hand, bearing his sicknesses and imparting His own health.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and how much more should we seek the heavenly Physician who never fails. Continue to look to Him in faith, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and trust that the abiding power of the healing leaves keeps the soul and body of the believer under His watchful eye world without end.
May the Lord grant you peace as you wait upon Him, and may He deal with you and with your father according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We leave him in the hands of Him who Himself bore our sicknesses, praying that you may see the Lord's kind answer and give praise to Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
