Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for bringing your father before the Lord in prayer. I join you in asking for his healing and I am grateful for your love and concern for him.
Jesus has shown us what the Father is like. He said that He did not act on His own but lived in perfect harmony with the Father, doing the Father's will and speaking the Father's words. He told His disciples that to see Him was to see the Father, because the Father was living in Him and doing His works through Him. All of the love Jesus showed, all of the healing of sick bodies and the restoring of broken lives, was the Father's own work made visible through the Son.
That is why we can bring your father's needs with confidence to the Father in the name of Jesus. Jesus taught us to ask the Father in His name so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. The way He said it shows the Father's heart. He did not say the Father shall give only as a duty, but that the Father may give, because the Father is already wanting to bless and to help. Prayer opens the door for the Father to do what His love already desires to do for us, while He still honors the choices He has given us.
So together we ask the Father in Jesus name for your dad. We ask for good health to be restored to him, for every infection and inflammation to be removed from his body, for the sore on his toe to be healed, and for His mercy and restoring power upon his feet and upon his kidneys. We ask that the same Father who worked through Jesus to heal the sick would touch your father now, ease his pain, cleanse what is infected, calm what is inflamed, and make whole what is wounded.
Continue to bring him before the Father in Jesus name each day, trusting the Father's love and His willingness to care for His children. He sees your father, He hears your prayer, and He is near to help.
Father, we thank You for Your love revealed in Jesus. In the name of Jesus we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this father, to remove infection and inflammation, to heal the sore on his toe and to restore his feet and his kidneys. Give him strength and health according to Your gracious will, and give peace and comfort to his family as they trust You. Amen.
