We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The struggle with pornography is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and faithful to deliver. Scripture tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). You are not alone in this fight, and there is a way out through Christ.
First, we must address the sin of lust and sexual immorality, for the Word of God is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). Pornography defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit and distorts God’s holy design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. We rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus and command it to loose its grip on your mind and heart. The blood of Jesus has power to cleanse you from all unrighteousness, and we declare that cleansing over you now.
We also recognize that this struggle often stems from deeper wounds, loneliness, shame, or unmet emotional needs. The enemy seeks to exploit these vulnerabilities, but Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18 WEB). We pray that the Lord would reveal the root of this bondage and heal you from the inside out.
Now, let us come boldly before the throne of grace in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. Lord, we lift up our brother who is crying out for deliverance from the chains of pornography. We thank You that You are a God who hears the prayers of the repentant and draws near to the broken. We ask that You would forgive him of this sin, wash him clean by the blood of Jesus, and renew a right spirit within him.
Father, we ask that You would break the power of this addiction in his life. Take away the urge, Lord, and replace it with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Fill his mind with Your Word and his heart with Your presence so that there is no room for the enemy’s lies. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him, and we speak freedom over his mind, body, and spirit.
Lord, we pray for accountability and godly fellowship. Surround him with men who will walk alongside him in this battle, who will pray for him, encourage him, and hold him accountable. Give him the courage to confess this struggle to trusted believers so that he may experience the healing power of community.
We also ask that You would heal any wounds or emptiness that the enemy has exploited. Fill him with Your love, peace, and purpose. Remind him daily of his identity in Christ, not as a slave to sin, but as a son of the Most High God. Strengthen him to resist temptation and to flee from every appearance of evil.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working in him even now, drawing him closer to You and setting him free. May he experience the fullness of life that You intend for him, a life of holiness, joy, and victory in Christ. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
To our brother in this struggle, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Your repentance is not in vain. The Lord is near to you, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. Do not lose heart. Every time you resist temptation, you are growing stronger in the Lord. Every time you turn to Him in repentance, you are drawing closer to His heart.
We also encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Install accountability software on your devices, avoid triggers that lead you into temptation, and fill your time with godly pursuits, prayer, Scripture reading, worship, and fellowship with other believers. Remember, "Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak" (Matthew 26:41 WEB).
You are not defined by this struggle. You are defined by the blood of Jesus and the new life He has given you. Keep pressing into Him, and do not give up. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
