We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is in the hospital, asking for His mighty healing hand to rest upon her. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our bodies. We declare Your Word over her: *"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we stand on this promise and ask that You would touch her body, drive out every trace of sickness, and restore her to full health.
We also take a moment to examine our own hearts and this request. While we long to see her healed and restored, we must remember that true healing comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If this sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to understand the depth of His love and the power of His sacrifice. For it is only through faith in Him that we receive eternal life and the fullness of God’s blessings, including healing. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31). We ask that You would draw her heart to You, Lord, and reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way during this time.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and disease that has taken hold in her body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she *is* healed (1 Peter 2:24). We speak life over every organ, every system, and every cell in her body. We pray for supernatural strength, for peace that surpasses understanding, and for the comfort of Your Holy Spirit to surround her. Give her doctors wisdom and discernment as they treat her, and let every medication and procedure work for her good.
We also lift up her emotional and spiritual well-being. Hospital stays can be lonely and frightening, Lord, so we ask that You would fill her with Your presence. Let her feel Your love in tangible ways—through the kindness of nurses, the prayers of believers, and the peace that only You can give. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in her life, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead her to repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Lord, we thank You in advance for the testimony that will come from this trial. We pray that her healing would not only restore her body but also draw others to You. May her recovery be a living testimony of Your power and grace. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
