Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and your honesty before the Lord is precious. You asked God to look inside your body to find the cause of this pressure and to remove it, and that is exactly the kind of trust He invites. He sees what you cannot see and He cares about every part of your body.
Scripture teaches that the life of the flesh is in the blood, and that God gave blood upon the altar to make atonement for the soul. That is why blood was treated as sacred and set apart. Under the old covenant the high priest could only enter the Most Holy Place once a year, and never without blood. First he had to offer for his own sin with the blood of a bull, and then for the sins of the people with the blood of a goat, sprinkling it before the mercy seat. Those sacrifices had to be repeated year after year because they could only cover sin, they could never take it away.
But Jesus Christ has become our great High Priest. He did not enter an earthly tent that was only a copy, but heaven itself, to appear in the presence of God for us. And He did not enter with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood, once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness, and His blood was shed to cleanse us from all sin and to bring us near to God. Because His offering is complete, you do not come to God apart from that sacrifice, you come through it with confidence.
That same Jesus who offered Himself for our forgiveness also showed His heart to heal. The Scriptures say He bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and the gospels show Him healing bodies as well as forgiving sins. Even His last healing before the cross was an act of mercy to restore what had been injured. He is still the same Lord who understands both soul and body.
So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this dear one to You. You know the body You created, You see the heart and vessels and every cause of this high pressure that feels so heavy. We ask for Your healing touch, for wisdom for any doctors and care that is needed, and for Your peace to guard heart and mind. Apply the power of the blood of Jesus that cleanses and redeems, and let Your life and strength be known in this body. Give rest, steady this pressure, and help this loved one to walk in trust day by day.
Continue to seek Him and to follow wise medical counsel while you trust Him. He is your High Priest who lives to represent you before the Father, and He loves you and is near. Keep bringing every concern to Him, resting in the finished work of His blood and His care for your whole life.
