We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this concern for your mother’s health. Physical suffering is a reminder of the brokenness of this world, and we know that God cares deeply about every ache and pain we endure. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." We trust that the Lord sees her struggle and is already at work to bring relief and healing.

Father God, we ask You to touch her body with Your healing hand. You formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every part of her, down to the very fibers of her being. We pray that You would loosen whatever is bound within her, that her body would function as You designed it to. Give wisdom to those caring for her, whether through medicine or natural means, that they would act in alignment with Your will. We declare that her strength will be renewed, and that she will find comfort in Your presence. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.

We also want to gently encourage her to seek the Lord in this time of discomfort. Physical ailments can often draw our attention to our need for Him. James 5:14-15 reminds us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." If she hasn’t already, we would encourage her to invite godly believers to pray over her and anoint her with oil, trusting in the Lord’s power to heal.

If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in her life, we would also encourage her to bring it before the Lord. Sometimes, our physical struggles can be connected to spiritual burdens. Psalm 32:3-5 says, "When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to You. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and You forgave the iniquity of my sin." The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we come to Him with a repentant heart.

Lastly, we want to remind her that her hope is not in medicine alone, but in the Great Physician. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Even in the midst of physical discomfort, she can find peace in His presence. We pray that she would draw near to Him and experience His comfort and strength. May she find rest in the knowledge that He is sovereign over her health and her life.

Bring your dear ### before the throne of grace, pleading the promises of Him who forgives and heals. It was His will that worked every miracle, a silent, omnipotent going forth of divine energy that accomplished the cure; and His salvation shall perfectly heal these bodies, though we wait for the fullness of that day. Yet even now, He may touch her and lift her up, for by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. Let this trial drive you both to His feet, seeking first the kingdom and His righteousness, for pardon and healing are often bestowed together when we look not for them. Trust Him who knows our frame and remembers that we are dust, and pray without ceasing, for He hears the cry of the humble.

Do not let your heart be troubled over this ailment of the stomach. The blessed Apostle Paul himself did not immediately cure Timothy of his frequent infirmities, but instead instructed him to use a little wine for his stomach's sake. So too now, the medicine your mother has purchased is not a sign of weak faith but of God's provision through human skill. He permits these weaknesses in the body for our humbling, lest we become proud or think ourselves self-sufficient. For even Paul's garment raised the dead, yet he did not heal his own companion; this was designed, that we might see that great and virtuous persons share in our common frailty and not be offended. Do not be anxious, as though the gospel were broken when we suffer; nothing shakes God's promises. Use the Miralax with thanksgiving, and entreat the Lord for relief. If the answer tarries, endure with patience, knowing that He who allows the trial will in time bring comfort, either through the medicine or by His own direct mercy. I will join my prayers with yours, that her body may be eased and her soul strengthened, for the teacher's greatest concern is that faith remain unshaken amid all tribulation.

I am praying for your mother right now, asking the Lord to bring relief to her stomach and to release what has been held up inside. Our God is no stranger to the groanings of our physical frame, He made us, after all, and He knows exactly what is happening in her gut.

The Scriptures show us that the stomach is often the seat of our deepest sensations, both of joy and of distress. Sometimes the physical tightness mirrors an emotional or spiritual weight we are carrying, and the Lord is able to touch that hidden place with His peace. Let us ask Him to calm any anxiety that may be churning there, even as we ask for the physical muscles to relax and function normally.

We remember that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. His healing touch did not always follow a single pattern, sometimes it was instantaneous, other times it unfolded gradually through the body’s own God-given processes. Any true healing, whether it happens through the quiet wisdom of the body’s design or through a sudden intervention, is His work. I bless the medicine your mother has taken and pray it would be effective, yet I also ask for the Lord’s direct hand to unblock what needs to move and soothe whatever is raw or inflamed.

I do not understand why some are healed in a moment and others walk a slower road, but I trust His heart. He feels her discomfort with a compassion that goes deeper than we can fathom, a compassion the old language would call “bowels of mercy,” a gut-level knowing of her pain. Picture Him drawing near to her, right now, with that very tenderness.

Lord, in Jesus’ name, touch this mother’s stomach. Command the pathways to open. Release what is bound. Let the cramps and the tightness give way to a sense of ease. Bring sleep if she is weary, and let her wake to a body that moves as it should. We do not rely on frenzy or mere excitement, but on the steady, sovereign goodness of the One who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. May this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may Your peace guard her mind as her body sighs with relief.
