We join you in lifting up your mother and the young woman you are courting to the Lord, asking for His healing and guidance in their lives. We appreciate that you have prayed in Jesus Name and used the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, we must address that the term "girlfriend" is not used in the Bible. Instead, we must consider this relationship as a courtship where you are discerning marriage. The word of God is clear on marriage being a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If your courtship is not aligned with this principle, we urge you to reconsider your relationship and bring it under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Let us remind you of what Ephesians 4:32 WEB states, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
We must address 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB where it states, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Therefore, We must clarify that sexual intimacy is exclusively reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman.
We come against the spirits of jealousy, lying, fear, worry, doubt, anxiety, sickness, disease, unforgiveness, stress, low self-esteem, blame, anger, depression, and anguish, commanding them to be set back to the pit of hell from which they came, in Jesus' name.
We pray that God fills their hearts with His peace, which surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We lay hands over them, that they may be healed from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet; body, mind, and spirit. We pray for a complete and total healing for them, in Jesus' name.
Lord, we thank you for your blessings and the promises you give to those that read and share prayers like this one. We pray for a spirit of unity and encouragement to support and uplift each other.
We bless you for your faith and the prayers you have offered.
