We know how discouraging it can be when your head is clouded and painful and you are torn about whether you should go to events you had hoped to attend. We are reminded that our bodies and minds are in His caring hands and that He is the One who heals and restores us. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 which says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is suffering with a headache and a mind that feels in a fog. Lord, You know every pain and every heaviness, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this head, to ease the pain, to lift the fog, and to bring clarity, peace and strength. Grant rest and restoration, and let Your healing flow according to Your perfect will. We pray for wisdom about the events ahead, whether to go or to rest, and we ask You to guide every decision. If it is Your will for attendance, provide energy and clear mind, and if it is Your will to stay home, grant peace in resting without guilt or anxiety. Let Your will be done in everything as was prayed, and let Your peace guard heart and mind.
