We understand that you are seeking God's intervention in a situation involving a strained relationship between a daughter and her loving mother. We join you in praying for reconciliation, deliverance, and salvation for both individuals.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We need to pray in His name with thanksgiving and supplication to have our prayers heard.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and daughter to You. We pray that You will touch their hearts and minds, and draw them closer to You, Jesus. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon them, and that You will soften the daughter's heart towards her loving mother.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of confusion and lies that may be at work in their lives. We pray that You will deliver them from any form of bondage and bring restoration to their relationship. We pray for reconciliation, that they may forgive each other and build a healthy, godly relationship that honors You. We need to also mention the salvation message explicitly in this prayer.
God, we ask that You will save them and bring them to a personal relationship with You through Jesus Christ. We have sinned and fallen short of your glory but you have given us the gift of grace by believing in Jesus Christ. Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead. You will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10 WEB. May your loving arms be wrapped around them, comforting them and giving them peace.
We pray for them to have godly relationships and marriages that honor God, and we will encourage individuals to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. If they are in a state of fornication or adultery they need to repent and be cleansed from their sins.
We also pray for them to flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-19 WEB.
