Have been discipling a person by the name of ### for almost a year. He was making some progress but every now and then would slip. He has had a drinking problem. He was born again about 20 years ago. He eventually came to me about a month ago and said he wants someone from Church to see him as he cannot live this lifestyle anymore. A Pastor saw him on the Tuesday by the Saturday he had gone back to his past his ex girlfriend who drinks and smokes and all his ex friends who also do the same. He started staying out all night (he lives at the back of our property) and I have not seen him now for 5 days. We were fairly close and we could discuss things, I would encourage him as he has so much potential but since he went back to his past he basically told me, he does not want me asking where he's been and what he's doing and does not want to discuss things with me. I am asking you to pray that he breaks from his past as they are not a good influence on him. Break soul ties, unholy and ungodly ties, alcoholism, swearing, fornication, lack of commitment, lack of integrity etc. Makes a commitment to break and not go back to his past and have a hunger and thirst for God and put him first. Build his relationship with God and let him have a testimony of what God can do. Make Godly friends and have someone Godly a man that he can be accountable to. Basically do a 180 degree turnaround. All that word that has been sown into his life and all the encouragement that myself and family has given him that the Holy Spirit will bring it to remembrance and he will remember all the good things instead of focusing on all the negative. That satan will not have any place in his life. That he will make a commitment to serve God and will not waiver. He will be a person that one can Trust. We stand in agreement that God is working in His life right now and that ### is covered by the power of the blood of Jesus so that he will not sin or associate with ungodly people. (These we will pray for separately) but he needs to remove himself from them. That the Holy Spirit will convict him of any unholy act or thoughts so that he will immediately come to repentance. Thank you for your prayers and we believe that they are answered and that ### is a mighty man of God and will continue to be so for the rest of his long happy and healthy life.

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
