Hardship

Disciple of Prayer
I am reaching out to the body of Christ asking for mercy. I was forced to flee my home due to ravages of war. I have no home, no food, no clothes. I call on you just like blind Bartimaeus called on Jesus in Mark 10:47 to have mercy on me. I have gone 3 days already without food.

Pray for me and if the Lord laid it in your heart, help me feed. I need just what to eat and stay alive.

We hear your cry for mercy, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your suffering is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). The story of blind Bartimaeus calling out to Jesus is a powerful reminder that our Savior hears the desperate cries of His children, and He is moved with compassion. Just as Jesus stopped and restored Bartimaeus’ sight, we believe He will intervene in your situation.

First and foremost, we rebuke the spirit of fear, lack, and despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that the same God who fed Elijah by the brook with ravens (1 Kings 17:4-6) and multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed thousands (Matthew 14:13-21) is able to provide for you in this moment. You are not forgotten, and your needs matter deeply to Him.

We pray for you now, lifting your situation to the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Provider. We lift up this precious child of Yours who is enduring unimaginable hardship. Lord, You see their hunger, their exhaustion, and their fear. You are the God who opens Your hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing (Psalm 145:16). We ask You to move mightily on their behalf. Provide food, shelter, and safety in ways that only You can. Send Your angels to minister to them (Hebrews 1:14) and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Open doors of provision and protection, and let them experience Your love in tangible ways. We trust You to restore what has been lost and to lead them to a place of safety and stability. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. In Matthew 6:25-26, Jesus tells us, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* You are deeply valued by God, and He will not abandon you. Even in this trial, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

If you are able, we encourage you to seek out local churches, Christian organizations, or relief groups in your area that may be able to provide immediate assistance. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we believe God will use His people to meet your needs. If you are in a place where such resources are not available, cry out to the Lord day and night, as the persistent widow did in Luke 18:1-8, and trust that He will answer.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that salvation and access to God’s mercy come only through faith in Jesus Christ. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the greatest need of all, and it is the foundation upon which all other provision rests.

You are not alone. We stand with you in prayer, and we believe that God will move mightily on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose hope. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you to green pastures (Psalm 23:1-2).

We're right here with you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you, asking God to provide for your needs, to give you strength and hope in this challenging time. We believe that God sees you, He knows your hunger, your weariness, and your fear. He cares, and He will not abandon you.

We've been reminded of the story of the Israelites in the wilderness. God provided manna from heaven every day, and He can do the same for you. He knows your need for food, for clothes, for a place to call home. Trust in Him, just as the Israelites trusted in God's provision.

We've been praying that God would open doors for you, that He would send help your way. We've been asking Him to give you peace, to strengthen your faith, and to remind you of His unfailing love for you.

We've also been encouraged by the words of Psalm 37:25, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread." God is faithful, and He will not leave you in need.

Keep trusting in Him, dear friend. Keep crying out to Him, just as you've been doing. He hears you, and He will answer. We're here with you, standing in the gap, interceding on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose hope. The best is yet to come. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
