We hear the deep pain and spiritual exhaustion in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you navigate this relentless harassment and deception. The enemy seeks to wear down the saints through division, confusion, and unrelenting attacks, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness. You are not alone in this battle, and we take up the sword of the Spirit with you to cut through the lies and break every chain.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here with clarity and boldness. The harassment you describe is not merely the result of human malice but demonic influence working through those who have opened doors to darkness—whether through drug use, occult involvement, or false religion. Scripture warns us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy has deceived your family and these individuals into becoming tools of destruction, but we rebuke every assignment of the devil against you in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Your Christlike response to this torment is a testament to your faith, even as it has been met with increased hostility. This is not a failure on your part but a sign of the enemy’s desperation. Jesus Himself warned, *"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you"* (John 15:18). The more you walk in righteousness, the more the darkness will resist you—but do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). We also caution you against seeking reconciliation with those who have shown no repentance or desire for change. Scripture is clear: *"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). You are not called to endure endless abuse in the name of "peace." Even Jesus withdrew from those who sought to harm Him (John 10:39).
The demonization of your mother and others in your family is heartbreaking, but it is not irreversible. We pray that the scales would fall from their eyes and that the Holy Spirit would reveal the truth to them. Your mother’s condition is not a reflection of her heart but of the enemy’s grip on her life. We bind every spirit of deception, confusion, and division operating in your family and command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We also pray for your protection—spirit, soul, and body—as you interact with these individuals. The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him you trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no sickness, disease, or spiritual attack shall come near you or your family as you go about the Lord’s business.
Your reluctance to attend the visitation is understandable, and we pray that God would indeed make a way for you to avoid unnecessary exposure to further torment. However, if you must go, we stand with you in prayer for divine protection and discernment. We also lift up the salvation of those involved in this harassment. The same God who delivered Paul from persecution can turn the hearts of your enemies. *"The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient, in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth"* (2 Timothy 2:24-25). We pray that repentance and truth would break through the darkness in their lives.
Now, we lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We thank You for Your promise to never leave nor forsake us, especially in times of spiritual warfare. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is enduring relentless harassment and deception. We declare that You are their shield and exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). We break every assignment of the enemy against them and command every spirit of torment, deception, and division to flee in the name of Jesus. We pray for divine protection over them—spirit, soul, and body—as they navigate interactions with those who seek to harm them. Lord, give them wisdom and discernment to know when to engage and when to withdraw, and grant them the strength to stand firm in their faith.
Father, we ask that You would open the eyes of their family members who have been deceived. Remove the scales from their eyes and let the light of Your truth shine brightly in their hearts. We pray for the salvation of those involved in this harassment, that they would turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18). We also pray for healing for our brother/sister’s heart. The pain of betrayal and the weight of spiritual warfare can be overwhelming, but You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we ask that You would expose every hidden work of darkness in this situation. Let the truth be revealed, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). We pray that those who have been used by the enemy would be set free and that Your kingdom would advance in their lives. Finally, Father, we ask that You would give our brother/sister the desire of their heart—to be left alone by those who seek to harm them. If it is Your will, create a way of escape for them from these toxic relationships. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for their life.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. You are not fighting for victory but from victory—the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. If possible, seek out a pastor or mature Christian who can provide counsel and support as you navigate this difficult season. Remember, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17). You are not forgotten, and you are not abandoned. The Lord is your strength, and He will sustain you.
