i live in an apartment building and is currently facing harassment by the residents who live here. There is something very wrong with the locals here- they constantly watch me, try to make my life difficult, backstab, verbally harass me behind my back, sexual accusations, constant violations of privacy, cursing, gaslighting, etc. I need help. Help me Jesus.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the suffering you are enduring in your living situation, and we want you to know that you are not alone—the Lord sees your affliction, and He is your refuge and strength. You have cried out to Jesus, and that is exactly where your help comes from, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can find salvation, protection, or deliverance. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your cry has reached the ears of the Lord, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that He will act on your behalf.

The harassment you describe—being watched, slandered, falsely accused, and verbally abused—is not only deeply unjust but also an attack on the dignity God has given you as His child. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. What is happening to you is evil, and it is not from God. The Lord calls His people to love their neighbors as themselves (Mark 12:31), to speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and to live peaceably with all (Romans 12:18). Those who engage in such behavior are walking in darkness, and we must pray for their repentance even as we seek your protection and justice.

We also urge you to take practical steps to safeguard yourself. Document every incident of harassment—dates, times, witnesses, and details—so that you have a record if you need to involve authorities or legal protection. The Bible teaches us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), and sometimes wisdom requires us to take action to protect the life God has given us. If you have not already, consider speaking with your landlord or property management about these issues, or seek counsel from a trusted authority figure who can intervene. If the harassment includes threats or actions that make you fear for your safety, do not hesitate to contact law enforcement. God often works through the structures He has established to bring justice and peace.

At the same time, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). This is why prayer is your most powerful weapon. The Lord can change hearts, expose lies, and bring conviction to those who are acting unjustly. He can also give you supernatural peace and strength to endure. Jesus told us in Matthew 5:10-12, *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."* While this does not mean you should passively accept abuse, it does mean that God sees your suffering and will reward your faithfulness.

We also want to address the spiritual aspect of what you are facing. The level of maliciousness you describe suggests a stronghold of darkness in that place. We encourage you to pray over your home, asking the Lord to cleanse it and fill it with His presence. Speak the blood of Jesus over your dwelling and declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm in truth, righteousness, and faith. Pray for the Lord to expose every hidden work of darkness and to silence the mouths of those who speak lies. Ask Him to surround you with His angels for protection, as He has promised in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*

If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be supported, prayed for, and strengthened by fellow believers. Isolation can make you more vulnerable to spiritual attack, but there is power in the body of Christ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). If you are unable to leave your current living situation immediately, ask the Lord to provide a way of escape in His timing. Trust that He is working even when you cannot see it, and hold fast to His promises.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is suffering under the weight of harassment, slander, and persecution. Lord, You are a God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. You know the hearts of those who are afflicting Your servant, and You know the pain and distress they have caused. We ask You, Father, to intervene mightily in this situation. Rise up as a defender of the oppressed and a refuge for the afflicted. Surround Your child with Your angels, Lord, and place a hedge of protection around them that no weapon of the enemy can penetrate.

We rebuke every spirit of harassment, slander, and darkness that is operating in that place. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to be bound and silenced. We declare that every tongue that rises against Your servant in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Expose the lies, Lord, and bring to light every hidden work of darkness. Let the truth prevail, and let those who have acted wickedly be confronted with the weight of their sin. Convict their hearts, Father, and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we ask that You remove their influence and power over Your child’s life.

Grant Your servant wisdom, Lord, to know how to respond in each situation. Give them discernment to recognize the snares of the enemy and the courage to take the steps You are leading them to take. If it is Your will, provide a way of escape from this environment—a new place to live where they can find peace and safety. Open doors that no man can shut, and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, we also ask that You heal the wounds this harassment has caused. Comfort Your child with Your presence and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that they are not alone, that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to forgive those who have wronged them, not because they deserve it, but because You have called us to release bitterness and trust in Your justice.

We pray for divine justice to prevail, Lord. You have said in Your Word that vengeance is Yours, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You will bring about justice for Your child. In the meantime, fill them with Your joy and hope, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them.

We declare Your protection, Your provision, and Your peace over their life. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Amen.

Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement from Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Cling to this promise, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not abandon you. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you feel led, share this request with your church or a trusted believer who can pray with you and support you during this time. You are not forgotten, and your deliverance is coming. Stand firm in the Lord.

Hello friend. I'm sorry to hear what you are going through with your living situation. I will pray for peace, resolution on your behalf, and ask that God places a hedge of protection around you and shields you from any negativity. I will pray for your light, God's grace to cover you. Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Do you share Jesus with others there? The reason I ask is that usually puts a stop towards mistreatment with me.

Do you believe Jesus died for our sins, is risen from the dead, is preparing a place for us, and is about to call us to join Him?

I wanted to commit suicide once; I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door, I posted a prayer on here and, hoping there might be help from God one last time, I opened the Bible and only read "take no thought for your life." I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God, I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again, "I take no thought" was my only thought that day. All of a sudden, I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years, and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus, and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus' friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts, and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others, especially in your situation, will help you tremendously in yours, friend.

I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You, Lord, and depart from evil, and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You, Jesus, for Your Promises! Lord, make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirit, Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6), this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God, all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord, for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

worst of all is the sexual harassment. these teenage girls/boys keep trying to trap me wherever I go. it's like they're trying to get something out of me and no, I'm not giving it to them.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
