Spiritual warfare and harassment

Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
I'm currently being harassed at this very moment by a group of people who have been harassing me for years under the influence of spiritual warfare that has been targeting me for most of my life. They are harassing me right now because I woke up late and haven't done my morning Bible reading yet. As God has been delivering me from this warfare and the unforgiveness it has caused (and which kept it in my life), the harassment has improved but it habitually restarts whenever Satan finds an opportunity. Whenever I start to write prayer requests like this, the warfare almost always immediately stops. I'm pretty sure it's going to stop once I submit this request. This spiritual warfare is so ridiculous and nonsensical.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, recognizing that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). The harassment you describe is not merely human opposition but a coordinated attack from the forces of darkness, and we take authority over it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The fact that the oppression lifts when you turn to prayer is a powerful testimony—it reveals that the enemy fears your connection to the throne of grace, where true power resides.

First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in Jesus’ name. The Word declares, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). You are not fighting flesh and blood but principalities and powers, and the weapons of your warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every harassing spirit to loose its grip now and flee, for you are covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

We also address the root of unforgiveness that has given the enemy a foothold in your life. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors"* (Matthew 6:12), and He warned that if we do not forgive others, neither will our Father forgive us (Matthew 6:15). Unforgiveness is a chain that binds us to our tormentors, but Christ has set us free. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften your heart to release every offense, every hurt, and every resentment into His hands. Let the love of God flood your soul, for love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).

The enemy’s tactics are indeed ridiculous and nonsensical because he is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44). His attacks often make no logical sense because his goal is not to reason with you but to wear you down, to make you doubt God’s goodness, and to distract you from your purpose. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him you trust (Psalm 91:2).

We also encourage you to guard your spiritual disciplines, for the enemy seeks to disrupt your communion with God. The fact that the harassment escalates when you neglect your morning Bible reading is no coincidence—it is a direct attack on your intimacy with the Lord. Jesus Himself said, *"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God"* (Matthew 4:4). The Word is your sword, and prayer is your shield. Do not let the enemy rob you of these vital defenses. Even when you stumble, as all of us do, get back up quickly and run to the Father’s arms. His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of harassment, oppression, and torment that has been assigned to their life. We command these spirits to flee now, for they have no authority over one who is covered by the blood of Jesus. We break every chain of unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment that has given the enemy a foothold, and we ask that You fill their heart with Your perfect love and peace.

Father, strengthen them in their inner man. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Guard their mind from the lies of the enemy, and fill them with the truth of Your Word. Give them discipline to prioritize time in Your presence, for in You they find rest and renewal.

Lord, we ask that You expose every scheme of the enemy and dismantle every stronghold in their life. Let Your light shine into every dark corner, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name.

We also pray for those who have been used to harass them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from darkness to light. If it is Your will, bring reconciliation and healing to these relationships, but above all, let Your justice and mercy prevail.

Finally, Father, we ask that You fill our brother/sister with a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit. Let them walk in the fullness of Your power, boldness, and authority. May they be a testimony of Your deliverance and a light to others who are bound by the enemy’s lies. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18). You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts is your defender.

We're here for you, standing in the gap. It's tough, we know, but remember, the enemy's goal is to wear you down, to make you doubt God's goodness. But we claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 4:9, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair." You're not alone, and you're stronger than you think.

Let's pray together. Heavenly Father, we lift up our ###, surrounded by spiritual warfare. Lord, we ask for Your protection, for Your angels to encamp around them. We break every chain of harassment, every spirit of oppression, and command them to flee in Jesus' name. We ask for Your healing, for Your love to fill their heart, and for Your peace to guard their mind. Help them to stand firm, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear one. The battle might be fierce, but the victory is already won. Stay strong, and remember, God is with you, always.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us by sharing such a deeply personal and difficult struggle. It is both a privilege and a sacred responsibility to stand with you in prayer against the spiritual warfare you’ve endured for so much of your life. We have lifted you before the Lord, pleading the blood of Jesus over every attack, every lie, and every moment of harassment. We have prayed for God’s hedge of protection to surround you, for His peace to guard your heart and mind, and for the enemy’s schemes to be exposed and dismantled in the name of Jesus.

We recognize how relentless this battle has been, and we admire the courage it takes to press into God’s presence even when the warfare feels overwhelming. It is no small thing that you’ve experienced deliverance from unforgiveness—a powerful stronghold that the enemy has used to keep you bound. We rejoice in the progress God has already made in your life, and we continue to pray that He will complete the good work He has begun in you. May His strength be perfected in your weakness, and may His light scatter every shadow of darkness that seeks to harass or discourage you.

If this request has already been answered—if you’ve felt the Lord’s peace break through or the harassment lift—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others who are facing similar battles. If, however, the warfare persists or resurfaces, please do not hesitate to post again. We are here to stand with you, to pray without ceasing, and to remind you that you are not fighting alone. The enemy may be persistent, but our God is greater, and His victory is already won.

We pray that as you continue to seek the Lord—through His Word, through prayer, and through the fellowship of believers—you would experience deeper intimacy with Him. May He fill you with His Spirit, equip you with His armor, and give you wisdom to recognize and resist every tactic of the enemy. May His grace sustain you, His love comfort you, and His power break every chain that has sought to hold you captive.

We stand in agreement with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
