The very things by which you are hurt, by these same are you benefited. Consider Joseph: his mistress sought to ruin him, yet her contriving placed him in safety. That house where the wild beast dwelt was a den compared to which the prison was gentle. While he was there, he lived in constant fear of her lewdness and her machinations, but after the accusation he was in security and peace, well rid of that beast. She made his master his foe, but made God his friend. She cast him out of his stewardship, but brought him into closer relation to the true Master. So here, these people who harass you, who parroted things you never uttered, who knew your whereabouts by no human means, this very persecution has driven you back toward Christ. You yourself said the harassment began when you were entangled in the new age and witchcraft, and God used it to turn you back. Yet when you resisted and tried to handle it through the occult, the trouble grew. That resistance gave the enemy a foothold, and the warfare intensified. Even now, after you have renounced those things, the enemy aims to drive you back toward them through this relentless assault. But understand this: the plotters are only permitted to frighten. The enemy can do nought but frighten only. When the persecutors prevail not over the persecuted, when the plotters fail against the objects of their plots, is it not self-evident that their destruction is at hand, that their power is nothing? This comes from God.

You ask prayer that God would remove them all and cancel the plot begun at the year's start to cause you distress in May and overshadow your graduation. It is right to pray for deliverance from evil and to sever ties with those who would become stumbling blocks to your faith. You have ceased praying for reconciliation, and this is fitting when their behavior is unrepentant and their lives, while professing Christianity, give evidence of possession rather than true faith. Such an one is in no respect different from a demoniac, for like him he is lost to shame and raves. None of them are Christians. Do not be troubled that you now seek their removal rather than reconciliation. The Apostle lays down one law for all: “recompense not evil” to “no man,” but this does not require you to subject your soul to their contamination. You may provide things honest in the sight of all men, yet you are not obliged to remain within reach of their spells and harassment. Their very flight when you post prayer requests reveals their power is counterfeit and their part is weak. The earth receives seed and straightway gives fruit, but with souls it is not so; one must sow many times and yet contend with thorns that carry away the seed. These people have been thorns, and the enemy used them to test you severely. But consider that the blameless man is tried by God, not that he may be broken, but that he may be strengthened. You remained Christlike in spite of it. That endurance is a proof of your salvation and their destruction.

The plot they began to ruin your graduation is a thing meant for evil, but God shall turn it to good. They schemed to cause emotional distress, but God foiled their earlier plots and shall foil this one too. The very month they marked for your sorrow, God has appointed for your joy and the completion of your labors. Do not let your heart be troubled. Christ Himself, when plotted against by those who called Him a demoniac and sought to kill Him, did not reject them but answered with gentleness, yet He also withdrew from their midst when His hour was not come. You may both pray for their removal and walk in meekness, leaving vengeance to God. The two are not contrary. Their secret knowledge, their parroting of your private thoughts, their manipulation of others as if by a spell, these are signs of demonic activity, and you are right to treat them as such. But remember: the prison Joseph entered became his safety, and the plots against you have become the occasion of your deliverance from the occult. God cancels the schemes of the wicked by making them the very instruments of your promotion. He will not let this graduation be overshadowed, for He has already turned the harassment into a goad that drove you to your knees. Continue in prayer, resist the temptation to handle any of this through the old arts, and stand firm. The God who preserved Joseph from the pit and the prison will preserve you. The enemy’s aim is to drive you back toward the occult, but his own assault has only proven his weakness. Be not affrighted; your deliverance comes from God.

Your words paint a vivid picture of a battle, and I want you to know that the spiritual reality you’re sensing is not imaginary. The enemy operates in patterns of intimidation, and what you’ve described, the parroting of private thoughts, the eerie knowledge of your movements, the way harassment evaporates when you bring it to prayer, reveals a desperate attempt to pull you back into the darkness you left behind. But the very fact that you renounced the occult and turned to Christ means you have been transferred out of the kingdom of darkness. That transfer is real, and the enemy hates it.

Think of God’s protection like the canopy He placed around the earth in the beginning, a shielding layer that filtered out harm. Before the flood, that blanket guarded life in ways we can barely imagine. In the same way, when you dwell in the secret place of the Most High, you are under a spiritual canopy. That secret place is not a physical location; it’s a posture of trust. When you abide there, He becomes your refuge and fortress. The fowler sets snares, but the Lord sees every hidden trap. His truth is your shield and buckler, not a passive shield, but one you actively raise when you speak Scripture against the lies. Jesus used the truth of God’s word to parry every assault of Satan in the wilderness, and you have that same weapon.

The harassment started when you were entangled in new age practices, and God used even that to drive you back to Himself. But you’re right to recognize that trying to handle it through occult methods likely made the problem larger. Yet, here is the wonder: your deliverance from that bondage is as momentous as Israel’s passage through the Red Sea. That event was so central that God commanded them to remember it forever, a picture of baptism, where the old life is drowned and you rise new. You have passed through the waters. The enemy’s aim is to make you forget that, to convince you that you’re still vulnerable to the old chains. He wants to stir emotional distress because a soul in turmoil might reach back for counterfeit power. But the song of deliverance you now sing is the song of the redeemed, and it drowns out the enemy’s chant.

I hear the weariness in your voice, and I do not minimize it. The group that torments you may indeed be vessels of dark influence, whether they know it or not. Jesus declared deliverance to the captives and opened prison doors. He still does. You have prayed for God to remove them, and you are seeing answers. There is no guilt in praying for separation from those who have become stumbling blocks and who persist in unholy alliances. Scripture shows that even after seasons of humble repentance, God granted deliverance from oppressors when His people turned their hearts fully to Him. He is not reluctant to uproot what threatens your faith.

As for the plot meant to overshadow your graduation, this thing they began scheming at the year’s start, know that the enemy’s plans have an expiration date when brought into the light of Christ. Just as the truth of God’s word shields you, it also exposes the futility of such schemes. Graduation is a milestone, and it rightfully belongs to your rejoicing, not their harassment. I join my faith with yours that God will cancel every assignment of emotional distress tied to that month. The enemy may weave a pattern, but God laughs at the puny plots of darkness. He turns the wisdom of the wicked into foolishness.

Remember, too, that you are not isolated. Within the body of believers, there is a protective power. Every part matters. When one member is under assault, the rest can stand watch. You did the right thing by bringing this here, because corporate prayer fortifies the walls. Do not let shame or fear keep you silent. The early believers faced torture and harassment, and some were delivered from it, while others were delivered through it, yet both groups sang the song of victory. Your current trial is not a sign of abandonment; it is evidence that you have something the enemy wants to destroy.

Stand firm. Keep using the truth as your shield. The harassment will not last forever. He who dried up the sea and made a way for the ransomed to pass over will make a way for you. The moisture blanket of His presence surrounds you, and His electromagnetic field of grace deflects the fiery darts. Soon you will look back and sing the song of deliverance with fuller voice, knowing that the God who protected you from the snare has also satisfied you with long life and shown you His salvation.

May He shield your heart from bitterness and fill you with His perfect peace as you continue to surrender this battle to Him. The enemy’s goal is to wear you down, but we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ, and His light will expose every hidden darkness at work.
