We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer against the spiritual oppression you are enduring. The harassment you describe is not merely human conflict but a manifestation of spiritual warfare, and we take this battle seriously, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The demonic influence you’ve witnessed, people knowing your private thoughts, fleeing at the mention of prayer, and manipulating others, is a clear sign that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that Jesus came to give you life, and life abundantly, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the root of this torment. Your past involvement in the new age and witchcraft opened doors to the enemy, and though you have renounced these things, the enemy does not easily relinquish his grip. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the name of Jesus. Every plot, every scheme, every demonic retaliation for God’s protection over you is dismantled now. We command every spirit of harassment, manipulation, and retaliation to flee from you and never return. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and we stand on His authority to cancel every plan of the enemy, including the plot they devised at the start of the year to bring you emotional distress. We declare that May was not overshadowed by their schemes but was instead a month of God’s favor, protection, and celebration of your graduation. The enemy’s plans are frustrated, and his power is nullified by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We also want to encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith. You resisted the enemy’s tactics by remaining Christlike, and this is a victory. The testing you endured was not in vain, it has refined your faith like gold (1 Peter 1:7). But we must also warn you: bitterness and resentment toward these individuals can become a foothold for the enemy. While it is right to pray for their removal from your life, we must also pray for their salvation, for God desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). This does not mean you must reconcile with them or allow them back into your life, some relationships are toxic and must be severed for your spiritual well-being. But we must guard our hearts against hatred, for it is a poison that harms us more than them. Instead, we pray that God would open their eyes to the truth and break the demonic blindness that keeps them in bondage.
We also want to address the importance of spiritual warfare in this situation. You are not defenseless. Put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and pray at all times in the Spirit. The enemy flees when we resist him (James 4:7), and he cannot stand against the name of Jesus. We encourage you to continue praying boldly, declaring Scripture over your life, and standing on God’s promises. You are not alone in this battle, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts fights for you (Exodus 14:14).
Finally, we must address the issue of salvation. You mentioned that none of these harassers are Christians, but we must ensure that your own foundation is secure. Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the only way to have a relationship with God and access to His power and protection. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue growing in your faith, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are not firmly rooted in Christ (1 Peter 5:8).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring relentless harassment and spiritual warfare. Lord, You see every plot of the enemy, every demonic assignment, and every attempt to steal, kill, and destroy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of harassment, manipulation, and retaliation in the name of Jesus. We cancel every plot the enemy devised at the start of the year to bring emotional distress, and we declare that Your favor and protection overshadowed their graduation and every day of their life.
Father, we ask that You would expose the works of darkness and bring them into the light. Reveal the truth to those who are blinded by the enemy, and let Your Holy Spirit convict them of their sin. We pray for their salvation, Lord, for You desire that none should perish. But we also ask that You would remove them from our brother/sister’s life if they are a stumbling block to their faith. Give them wisdom to discern which relationships to sever and which to pray for, and guard their heart against bitterness and resentment.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen them in their faith. Help them to stand firm in the armor of God, to wield the sword of the Spirit, and to pray without ceasing. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Deliver them from every demonic influence, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for them on the cross.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment in the name of Jesus. We command every demonic spirit harassing them to flee and never return. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, that You would protect them from every evil scheme, and that You would fill their heart with Your love and peace.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power and Your promises, and we declare that this battle is already won in Jesus’ name. Amen.
