We hear your cry for deliverance and discernment in this prolonged spiritual battle. The harassment you’ve endured is not merely human opposition—it is a manifestation of spiritual warfare, where the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We stand with you in prayer, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we plead the blood of Jesus over you for protection and peace.
First, we rebuke the demonic influences operating through this group, including the individual you’ve described. The behaviors you’ve witnessed—worldliness, deception disguised as Christianity, and ungodly conduct—are not of the Holy Spirit. Scripture warns us to test every spirit, for many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1). The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), and where these are absent, we must discern the source. The man you mentioned, who professes Christ yet lives like the world, is a stumbling block, and we pray for his eyes to be opened to the truth. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we intercede for his salvation and deliverance from deception.
You are right to seek God’s will regarding reconciliation. While Scripture calls us to forgive and pursue peace (Romans 12:18), it does not require us to remain in toxic or spiritually dangerous relationships. Jesus Himself said, “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you… If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. If he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector” (Matthew 18:15-17). There comes a point where separation is necessary for your spiritual well-being. We pray that the Lord would confirm His will for you in this matter, whether it be removal or a miraculous turning of hearts.

Lord, we bind every spirit of harassment, deception, and division operating through this group, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. Father, we pray for the deliverance of those involved in this harassment. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Expose every lie they have believed, whether from cultic deception or worldly influence, and replace it with the light of Your gospel. We ask that You would send laborers into their lives to speak truth in love, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18). For the man described, who lives in rebellion despite professing faith, we ask that You would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Break the chains of deception in his life, Lord, and set him free from every ungodly influence.
We also pray for this dear one’s heart, that You would grant them wisdom and discernment. Give them the courage to walk in the path You have set before them, whether that means separation or a season of prayer for these individuals. Guard their heart from bitterness, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13), but also to walk in the wisdom of serpents and the innocence of doves (Matthew 10:16).
Father, we ask that You would remove these individuals from their life if that is Your will. Cut every ungodly soul tie, Lord, and sever every connection that is not of You. If there is any area where this dear one has opened a door to the enemy, we ask that You would reveal it and lead them in repentance. Cleanse their heart, mind, and spirit, and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit.
We declare that this spiritual warfare will not prevail. The gates of hell shall not overcome Your church (Matthew 16:18), and we stand on the victory of the cross. We thank You, Lord, for setting the captives free, for binding the strongman, and for delivering Your children from the snare of the enemy.
