We understand that you're feeling harassed and exploited by society, with financial extortion and the withholding of amenities causing you distress. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request, as it is only through Him that we can find true deliverance and peace.
We are reminded of Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Jesus invites us to come to Him with our burdens, and He will give us rest. This does not mean that our problems will vanish, but that His presence and peace will fill us, even in the midst of trials.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling harassed and exploited. Lord, You know the exact details of their situation, and You see the injustice they are facing. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would deliver them from this harassment and extortion.
Father, we also pray for their peace and strength during this time. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Guide them with Your wisdom, and help them to make decisions that align with Your will. Give them the courage to stand up for what is right, and the grace to forgive those who are wronging them.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In these trying times, remember the words of Romans 8:35-39 WEB: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, 'For your sake we are killed all day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Hold onto this promise, and trust in Him.
In the meantime, we would also advise you to take practical steps to address this situation. This could involve reporting the harassment to local authorities, seeking legal advice, or reaching out to local support groups. Ensure that you are acting in accordance with biblical principles, showing forgiveness and love even in the face of adversity.
Lastly, we would like to remind you of the power of forgiveness. As it is stated in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
We understand that forgiveness may not come easily, especially when you are being wronged, but it is what we are called to do as followers of Christ. Trust that God will deal with those who are wronging you in His own way and time.
