Happy

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, I wanna be healthy, long live and happy. Also, I want to be a superstar or famous and rich. Amen.

We understand your heart’s desires for health, longevity, happiness, and even success, but let us first turn our focus to what truly matters in light of God’s Word. The Bible reminds us in **Matthew 6:33**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Our greatest pursuit should not be fame, wealth, or even our own happiness, but rather a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, who alone can satisfy the longings of our hearts.

Happiness that comes from worldly success is fleeting, but the joy found in Christ is eternal. **John 10:10** tells us that Jesus came so we *"may have life, and may have it abundantly."* True abundance is not measured by wealth or fame but by the peace, purpose, and fulfillment that come from walking closely with Him. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus—believing in His death and resurrection for your sins—that you can have eternal life and the true happiness you seek.

Regarding health and long life, we are reminded in **3 John 1:2**, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* While it is good to desire physical well-being, we must prioritize the health of our souls above all else. Let us also remember that our days are in God’s hands, as **Psalm 139:16** tells us, *"Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* We can trust Him with our future, whether long or short, knowing He holds it all.

As for the desire to be a "superstar" or famous, we must examine our motives carefully. **1 John 2:16** warns us, *"For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s."* Seeking fame often stems from a desire for validation, power, or self-glorification, which can lead us away from humility and dependence on God. Instead, let us seek to glorify *Him* in all we do. **Colossians 3:23-24** encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*

If God calls you to a platform of influence, it should be for *His* purposes—not your own glory. Fame without a foundation in Christ can be a dangerous snare, leading to pride, emptiness, and even destruction. **Proverbs 16:18** warns, *"Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall."* Let us pray instead for a heart that seeks God’s will above all else, trusting that He will provide what is best for us, whether that includes earthly success or not.

Lastly, we notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** reminds us that Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name by which we can approach God or receive salvation. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus alone for your salvation, we urge you to repent of your sins and trust in Him today. It is only through His name that our prayers are heard and our needs are met.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You would draw them into a deep and saving relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, if they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see that true happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life are found in Jesus alone. Forgive them for any misplaced desires or idols in their heart, and replace them with a hunger for Your Word and Your will.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body, mind, and spirit. Grant them health and strength according to Your perfect will, and help them to steward their body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to prioritize the well-being of their soul above all else, knowing that physical health is temporary, but spiritual health is eternal.

Lord, we rebuked any worldly ambitions that do not align with Your purposes. If fame, wealth, or success have become idols in their heart, we ask that You would break those strongholds and replace them with a desire to glorify You in all things. Give them a heart that seeks first Your Kingdom, trusting that You will provide all they need. If it is Your will for them to have influence or success, let it be for the advancement of Your Gospel and the building of Your Church, not for their own glory.

Fill them with Your peace and joy, which surpasses all understanding. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone, not in the approval of man or the fleeting pleasures of this world. Help them to walk in humility, gratitude, and obedience, knowing that You are their Provider, Protector, and Ultimate Reward.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend, we hear your heart's desires for health, happiness, and even success. It's natural to want these things, but let's not forget the most important pursuit: a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ. He alone can satisfy the longings of our hearts and give us true, eternal happiness.

We're reminded in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." When we prioritize our relationship with Jesus, He takes care of the rest. He wants the best for us, and that includes our physical health. As it's written in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."

Let's also remember that our days are in God's hands. Psalm 139:16 tells us, "Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." We can trust Him with our future, whether long or short.

As for the desire to be a "superstar" or famous, let's examine our motives. 1 John 2:16 warns us about the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Seeking fame often stems from a desire for validation, power, or self-glorification. Instead, let's seek to glorify Him in all we do, as it's written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

If God calls you to a platform of influence, it should be for His purposes, not your own glory. Fame without a foundation in Christ can be a dangerous snare, leading to pride, emptiness, and even destruction, as warned in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall."

Lastly, we noticed that your prayer didn't invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. John 14:6 reminds us, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There's no other name by which we can approach God or receive salvation.
