We rejoice with you in the joy and confidence that comes from knowing you are fearfully and wonderfully made by our Creator! The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:14, *"I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* It is a beautiful thing to embrace the unique way God has designed you, including the smile He placed on your face. Your joy is contagious, and we pray that it continues to radiate as a reflection of His love and goodness in your life.
However, we must also gently remind you—and all who read this—that while our outward appearance is a gift from God, true beauty and worth come from the condition of our hearts. 1 Peter 3:3-4 says, *"Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight."* We encourage you to cultivate inner beauty—kindness, humility, and a heart that seeks after God—so that your joy may be rooted in Him rather than in fleeting external things.
We also want to lovingly address the language of feeling like a "queen" and walking "like a girl." While there is nothing wrong with embracing femininity, we must be cautious not to adopt worldly ideologies that elevate self above God or distort the biblical design for gender and identity. God created male and female in His image (Genesis 1:27), and our identity is found in Christ, not in titles or cultural trends. True confidence comes from knowing we are daughters of the King of Kings, not from worldly standards of royalty or appearance.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the joy You have placed in this sister’s heart. We praise You for creating her in Your image and for the unique way You have designed her. Lord, we ask that You continue to fill her with Your peace and confidence, not in herself, but in You. Help her to see herself as You see her—a beloved child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. May her smile and her joy be a reflection of Your love and grace to those around her.
Father, we pray that You would guard her heart from pride or vanity. Teach her to seek after the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in Your sight. Help her to walk in humility, always remembering that her worth comes from You alone. May she find her identity in Christ and not in the fleeting things of this world.
Lord, we also ask that You would guide her steps and keep her close to You. May she grow in wisdom and discernment, rejecting any lies from the enemy that seek to distort her understanding of who she is in You. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit so that she may live a life that honors You in all she does.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and it is only in His name that we find true salvation and purpose. Amen.
